Oh phooey! He is a wonderful singer and has so much poise! He can rise above any bad lyric and will be the star that they predicted. He has a unique sound to his voice and I would buy his album. I don't like to see harsh criticism when a singer is only 10 and trying so hard. Be kinder Simon. You did't do us any favors this time. Sing on Charlie! Ignore the ignoramus!

But really.. He can rise much higher with better songs. And Piers and Amanda were saying the same things... Great boy, great voice, bad song. Period. It's great you're showing him support but don't be ignorant to who really is dishing out their own stuff through someone who is so golden. The messages are great in the songs but the style and quality is all wrong for this boy. Somebody needs to call it quits and I'm not talking about Charlie here.

Definitely talented but too young to know about song choice. Not making it to the Finals should be a great learning experience. It is time for him and his family to make a decision on working with other composers and not limit this boy's talents in the hands of one composer.

I think he got great future. He has all the assets he needs to be great singer. It's sad how the judges made decision over his choice of song on the semi-final. But now I kinda see the point. He needs direction on music. I mean it's so clear that he performs so much better on one genre of song than the other. He just need to focus on either the genre that he likes (maybe he likes pop, I don't know, but it's the the area that he's not best at), or focus on old jazz, in which he's so brilliant at.

cedric whitehouse is a stupid composer! he sang one of his composed songs during the semi finals & its completely utterly rubbish! with the beat boxing in it, wtf? So that's the reason why he dint make it through the semi! he wasnt able to convince the judges, although i still voted for him!
