  • What is better, this card or the AMD ATI Radeon Hd 6970?

  • What's inside the box? ANOTHER BOX! This is interesting... But not as interesting as the other box!

  • Hey all I've just downloaded a program called cpu z and when I opened the program and went to graphics it said core : 399 memory: 900 (I have the 5870)

Isn't it supposed to be alot more? Please response I'm kinda freaking out here!

  • @funnyfootballs the card slows down if you don´t play, it´s normal

  • @funnyfootballs hi my friend if you want to see the real core speed and the memory on the VGA use MSI Afterburner and you see the real core speed

  • Slow down when you talk freaking annoying.

  • 2:02 xD

  • give 2 of it to me will pay $0.01 then i have firecross

  • 5970 is bigger lol

  • @komplex71 this is from 2009

  • @fisssify im just saying its bigger.

  • HOLY HOLY HOLY FUCK I NEED THAT SHIT NOW!!!!!

  • Im getting this exact card! :D Comes in tomorrow :D:D:DDC

  • does anyone know if a pci-e x16 (2.1) will work in a 2.0 slot in my motherboard?

  • You sounds that you got an cold? in this video?

  • OMG look at that back plate!! It's a gloss black back plate, no more pcb shows, just pure gorgeousnesss!

  • Thank you for finally allowing us to comment on youtube again.

I love the 5800 series too.

  • man this guy fucking annoys me, he talks like a robot

  • @hawwit Mute.

  • I want this card. Im having trouble finding this exact one though, the same fan style i mean. Guess that doesn't really matter though.

  • Nice card you got there mate !!!!

  • Lets see whats inside the box...ANOTHER BOX!!! lol his voice is so full of energy sometimes

  • enough with the box

  • The King of The Single GPU : ATI 5870

All Types of GPU: ATi 5970

    Nvidia: GTX 480 (fermi)

  • @StarwarsGeneral the single gpu king is the gtx480 hehe ;)

  • @groberti ofcourse nvidia is the king hehe ;)

  • 3DGAMEMAN I would be very worried if I saw you around kids!

  • im going XFX!!!

  • @tmddyd2915 im going to get one of these to but i thing xfx or something simular.

  • come onnnnn, why review a box?????

  • Bored I guess.

  • Thanks for the advice, I really had trouble opening the box, not.... :L

  • two 5770's in crossfire would beat the benchmarks of a single 5870

  • It has been tried out... and no they would not.

  • lol nice i like

  • I love this review of a HD 5870 box.

  • 1:28 Nice....but not really interesting! Hehe. Great video. 5*

  • Woah. Little Man Where do you think you are going?

  • can you du a crossfire setup with the 5870 and the 5970

  • both 5870 can have 4 way crossfire to 5970 can have 2 only becasue its got 2 5870 chip inside it already.

  • not 5870 chips.. it is a mixture of 5850 and 5870 thus 2 5870 in crossfire will beat 1 5970

  • yup yup

  • no has to be same model

  • Yea i just odered one of these bad boys it should be in within the next week

  • I'm ordering one next week! woot!

  • its all reference design, so you can buy the cheapest.... but vapor x is different (other cooler and overclocked)

  • sapphire is better

  • XFX rush ATI cards, I know from multiple experiences! Im talking to you HD5970, HD4850 and HD4870, HIS are a great brand!

  • oi i dont care about the box

  • how much watt does this card require? I got an 650W.

Does the card need both power connecters?

  • @aaaaaaaaaa426

650w is enough and yes you need both.

  • Ok thanks alot!

  • im buying a new pc.. so i have a 550W will it be enough?

  • hell no.

  • oh ok thats why i replaced it with a 620W..

  • @aaaaaaaaaa426 but what is the brand? if it is corsair no problem , but if it is from another brands u may reconsider get a new psu!

  • Crosair TX650W

  • @aaaaaaaaaa426 no problem dude , it has force for the 5870 and a lot of HDD and a powerful cpu!

  • I think you should be good to go with 650W PSU as long as its not a cheap one, check how much Amps the 12V rails give.

1 6-pin power connection is enough to boot, but to game you will need the two of them connected.

  • about eyefinty do 2x 1920x1080P and 1x 1920x1200(Display port) monitors work together? let me kno

  • those are 2-8 pins

  • Hi, Sapphire or XFX ?

  • XFX, they have better packaging on its product and they have lifetime warranty for their cards

  • Which is the better between his hd 5870 or saphire hd 5870 ????

  • Doesn't matter, RamsAhmad.

  • is it better then the HD 4870x2, pls anyone can tell me please ?

  • yes, it does get better performance

  • does it fit into a Antec 1200 ??

  • ya, it should.

  • black blue ooh thats a nice box

  • totally agree. especially that plastic seal lol

  • @solmyr2 ide like to see you do a better review.

  • HIS>Products> Desktop Graphics>HD 5900 See for yourself th new king

  • 1:34 THIS IS INTERESTING

  • no there are no difference by the performance all standard clock.Only the Sapphire HD 5870 Vapor ist a little bit overclocked and has an better cooling sistem

  • what is the difference between: xfx asus saphire and his?

  • xfx is low budget cards, sapphire and asus both have high quality products but especially asus has very high price dimensions and his... uhm i dont know. not very popular in germany..

  • but is their any difference in performance?

  • well since its the same chip the answer is no. But sometimes they release their own styles like xfx for example, they always release a black edition. That means the card is slightly overclocked. And Saphhire has the vapor X series. Thats a different approach to cool down a card etc etc.

  • tnx

  • xfx epic styling and packiging xD

  • thats bullshit. the only difference between brands is the price, warranty, the design and maybe you get a free game with some cards.

the only exeption is the vapor x version of the card by sapphire. its a little bit overclocked and uses a custom cooler. the xfx/asus/his/gigabyte/club3d/powercolor/msi and the basic sapphire cards are still the same.

xfx's warranty is pretty good btw. it allows overlocking and the use of aftermarket coolers.

  • well, i said the same thing, whats wrong with you? I didnt mention the free game cause its totally not referring to the card. You´re talking about the stuff that comes with the card but kffje didnt ask for that.

  • why is XFX low budget? it has the best warranty and i thought reference cards were all the same.

  • Bacause they only give u the card, no games no extra cables no benchmarks no nothing just the card. Thats why they can offer it cheaper than other Manufacturers.

  • @keffje007(causeyoutubeisretarded)

The xfx card got the XFX sticker, the asus got the asus sticker, etcetc. No difference in performance at all. They just come with some different stuff. for an example the HIS model comes with a gamers tool kit, which the other ones dosn't. Hope this answers your question, and keep your questions coming ! :D

  • tnx that awnsers al my questions:P

  • you´r full of shit , theres diffrent coolers etc in diffrent brands not stickers

  • i like this guys unboxings and stuff , but im sorry the way he talks and looks makes me pissed off for some reason

  • yea, the batmobile from the 60's show ! =)

  • looks like batmobile..:D

  • just got myself one

  • Is there any difference between an ASUS or XFX 5870 and a Connect3D 5870 witch is 70$ cheapper)???

  • ASUS is way better quality than Connect3D

  • Asus and XFX are much better quality than Connect3D. HIS, Sapphire, Asus and XFX are good ATI card manufacter.

  • HIS is faster

  • is it necessary to connetc those power conectors ?

  • ye or you want to destroy your card becasue your vent isnt working the vent need power to spin

  • of course dumb

  • this card looks soo interesting.

but how much will it ask from your PSU when this is in crossfire?

  • ull need at least 650-700 watts if u wanna over clock and go crossfire

  • a great quality (80+) power supply with a minimum of 450 watt will do, for crossfire around 600 watt is fine.

  • I have a Coolermaster RealPOwer M700 ( 700Watt) right now, so that means i just can simply switch from my HIS 4870 Ice Q Turbo crossfire to 5870 Crossfire?

at first, i was thinking to purchase a 850 watt or perhaps 900watt.

  • oh no, 700w will be more then enough. The coolermaster Realpower is 80+ so that's fine. Unless you are running dual Xeon processors or something like that it should be no problem at all XD. If you want to be sure you could google: 'cooler master psu calculator'. First result will give a wattage calculator.

  • rodney looks like man from Doom

  • I just got a new nvidia 265, And it has an Anti static bag, but im worried about what Roney reynolds said, because im not that good at english and i dont understand what he said at 2:39, what does "grouch" mean?

  • ground: means get all the static electricity out of you so you dont shock the product and mess up some very small parts of it.

  • lol^^

  • Comment removed

  • I recently Purchased a XFX HD4870 and the packaging on this card is EXACTLY the same xD.

  • Why do i need this?

  • i thought they included a sword inside the package

  • 3:00

    These entries aren't vents.

    It's just aesthetics

    ;-)

  • why is physX so special???

  • that thing is fucking HUGE

  • Does this HD 5870 support physX???

  • no it doesn't

  • Aww crap! :( physX is so amazing.

  • Havok, about the same. Starcraft 2 is going to run Havok

  • yeah i have heard about the havok engine, but in my opinion i think the havok rendering is bad... it doesnt show physical collision of smaller objects :S

  • Comment removed

  • yes it dose ! look at 3DGAMEMAN`s video on the 5850 he says that it has physics.

  • no not physics physX

  • yeah yeah the same s**t ;-) not every 1 can english

  • physx is an excuse to buy nvidia

  • no it doesnt, look onto the official ATI site.

  • DX11 will have physX sow the games will not look diffrent on diffrent graphics cards

  • No, it wont have Nvidia PhysiX(tm), thats what everbody is talking about! And yes, there will be some other/new physiks standard used in DX11. First get your shit together, than write.

  • a only sad that the 5850 will have physix do to this man 3DGAMEMAN told us that it will have physix a never told you that it will be nvidia physix.

  • you did, because PhysiX (with the X) is a TM of Nvidia, if you talk about Physix everybody thinks of Nvidia. Some game phisiks arent the same as PhysiX(tm) GOT IT?

  • what ever -.-`

  • Another box. Nice but not really interesting... this.. is interesting.

  • rodney is fuckin crazy on making unboxing and cases reviews!!

  • "another box. nice.... but not.. really interesting...." lol I love Rodney

  • do u need to use both power connections ? or 1 is enuf

  • both 2x6pin connector.

  • thnx

  • Fuck the box, show the card. Jizzing himself over the box

  • It's 10.5 inches you loons. This is how you measure it from the screen. Stop vid at 2:37. Look at the DVI port. Get a piece of paper and mark the port's size on your paper. Now measure across the bottom of the card from one end to the other. Count how many port lengths you get. Multiply that by 1.5 -inches- (which is the actual length of a DVI port measuring from one screw hole to the other) and then you get an estimate at how big.

  • i would cut my dick off... but it still could get re attached for one of these... note.. i still want my dick lol

  • he's HUGE!!!

  • The card is too big

  • I read a customer review of soem1 who bought a 5870 to play WoW with it on a 19x12 res :( such a sad day lol. Really? is all I thought!!! haha

  • BEAST! as if the 4800 series wasn't good enough!

  • It's 11inches you moron. Almost as big as my d*ck

  • yeah in your mums dreams

  • More like it's in your mums

  • haha most probly, but at least Its .. in your mum

  • Get off the mom jokes, cause I just got off of yours

    ahahha pwned I win

  • Leave My Mum Outta This, and ill leave this outta ya mum

  • LOL i love seeing momma jokes on tech reviews :)

  • Think you got confused there dylanriggs, its 11cm, your dick, not inches.

  • No...it's 11 inches.

  • So you know Dylanriggs dick is 11inches? LOL.

  • No but your momma does.

  • You mean YOUR mom.

  • it's 11" it hugh !!!

  • how much power is need to power this ???

  • You need 500 watt PSU

  • Looks standard size, pretty much the same size as my current GTX260

  • Its more than 11 inches. Thats not standard xD

  • dude its 11" it hugh !!

  • this is bigger by half an inch... its a 11" card... and standard is 10.5

  • Haha the toolkit was awesome!!!

  • SHIT. THAT THING IS HUGE.

  • Hi, Can all the HD5870 fit in a Cooler Master HAF 932 case and the ASUS Rampage 2 Extreme mobo? Cos I have this two kick ass product.

Is it possible for you to do a review on the ASUS OC STATION, cos I think that is the last item for me to complete me kick ass RIG, thx.

  • Yea, the HAF case has at least a 4 inch clearance with my 295 and this thing can't be 14 inches. That'd be just retarded if they made it that big. Why won't it fit on the mobo? Are there any ports on that mobo that is perpendicular to the PCI slots? If no then you are good.

  • aanbaaxing?

  • Another box. This isn't interestin. Now this is interesting xD

  • I couldn't help but laugh at that as well.

  • Unboxing videos is the dumbest thing in the planet. It's just freaking pointless...

  • 0_o that is a massive video card

  • SOME1 HELP ME PLEASE

can any1 tell me whats the difference between

    HIS HD 5870 , XFX 5870 , SAPHIRE n others

please tell me whats the difference and y

    Thanx a lot

  • Pretty much nothing, except the look of the card, and goodies you get inside. I just bought this card like 10mins ago from new egg, and i went with the Sapphire one, just cause im running a 4870 sapphire and i have always loved them and their looks on cards. Plus they give you battle stations and dirt 2 for free :D

  • It's just different manufacturers. And like MegaHolyMoly said sometimes you may get different things in the box like software, games, adapters, or whatever.

  • The customer support and the art on the card.

  • omg

    thanx

that was the simplest and best reply probably thanx

i was thinking about this as well but when i saw the price difference i wasnt sure whats the difference

  • No props man.

    The warranty can differ too.

  • yh i no i actually found out what is the difference a little before your reply

but thats was the reply i needed lol

    thank you again.
