The point I was making was that it was a brilliant performance. Close your eyes and listen. It doesn't matter what his weight was at any given time, for any given performance. What does matter is that incredible voice.

We were so fortunate to have had him for the length of time that we did. We are also fortunate that he lived when he did. Fifty years earlier and all we would have would be a few poor quality studio recordings.
