this campaign isn't about livin under the poverty line with no cars and stuff, but to give people a taste of what it's like to have just $1.50 each day in your hands. I think that's the best people in big cities can do to understand others' lives

it doesn't take into account self-sustainance though. most of the people living off $1.50 a day will grow/hunt/etc their own food, they don't take their $1.50 to their nearest supermarket and buy ramen noodles. this is why i deem this another pointless irrelevant hipster bullshit exercise.

@mattymc90 Its all very well taking self-sustainability into account and your right they are (to a degree). But when you live in a barren landscape that very little can grow in cant be easy. Plus they LIVE on $1.50. Thats not JUST their food bill. Thats EVERYTHING!
