mavericks changes were vinyl roofs, aluminium details,.... and brazilian model had an exclusively rearlight model only from 77 to 79. so it is a very rare piece (for maverick owners to find in case of breaking)

thats a probably a 572, I agree its a larger motor but the supercharger vs turbocharger is the boost control, the supercharger is based on the engines idle where in most cases a turbo is computer monitored and controlled. I'm just a fan of the carb.

My question for LosCadaver is: how do you know its a 2005 production 383? How do you even KNOW its a 383? The idle? You apparently know engines so you KNOW that is not a stock engine, nor can you tell the displacement by the idle. Mopar had as many BB's as GM and Ford. And the yes, I will agree that a crank driven supercharger can produce mild BOOST, but that depends on what size pulley and what gains you want.

I know more about it than you. oviously, a Supercharger, is just a crank-run air pump, that offers a mild performance boost, while not putting too much stress on the tempered engine block, or the RED BLOCKS and ORANGE BLOCKS, the TURBOCHARGER is modified CENTRIFUGAL supercharger which is self propelled therefore when the idle of the engine is compromised the efficiency of the TURBOCHARGER does not change, and therefore weakens the BLOCKS integrity.

It depends on state regulations, there used to be a law on the books in Cali that hood obstructions cannot be higher than 6 inches. Dont know if it is still there. I know in the midwest most cops dont care, so long as you can kinda see what you are doing. Other than that, needs seat belts, lights, turn signals and legal exhaust. LOL! I
