Doesn't anyone else notice that the Bioshock games have very strange resemblance to the writings of Jules Verne as far as the setting is concerned? Relate Rapture to the Nautilus (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) and Columbia to the Albatross (Robur the Conqueror). Does anyone else see it?

I know this is a only a trailer, but the plamids seem to be a lot more powerful in this one. When Elizabeth uses telekinesis to try to pull Booker into her balcony, im sure that in Bioshock you could only lift bodys when they were dead. Maybe well find out how they first created the plasmids in this one.

I like the whole America feel. Its very different from the dark feelling of the original bioschock. It brings a kind of positive light to the scene. At the same time its going to be interesting because there will be day and night and the contrasting times will bring entirely different emotional feels with them. Also I noticed that this rapture looked like it wasnt in nearly as much turmoil although that could easily change.

from me watching this i kinda guess that maybe thats andrew ryan thats kicking the guys ass and his vital organs are just in a suit thats keeping him alive plus look at the detail on the boot it looks just like his shoes from the first game and obviously he built this city in the sky as a way of kinda like redeming himself for his city under the sea but so far from the trailer i dont see how this game would unfold theres no splicers but obvious use of plasmids

P.S The beginning confused me, that little model in the fish tank it said 1893, was that some indication that there already was a city under the sea before Rapture? Just because it's a prequel and that it takes place over 30 years before Raputre was built just looking at this trailer gives off that " Bioshock vibe " . They didnt pull away from the storyline from bioshock 1 or 2, the beginning of this game takes place underwater as the previous prototype, although its just a flashback, to make a long story short were looking at everything previous to what rapture is or was going to be. Im just happy their announcing it so early for the adrenaline rush :)
