@sfmchris123 a pro that couldn't stop tyson cutting the ring,closing the distance&killing him along the ropes within seconds of the opening round. he had to get tyson's respect.what u saw next was tyson roll&counter with a right uppercut from hell that connected with spinks' temple.spinks was out on his feet&incurred double impact when his head hit the canvas.what u mistook for a grin was spinks' mouth-guard popping out & his eyes rolling back in his head which is normal when a fighter gets ktfo

I certainly don't think this is a case of choreographing, and I kind of doubt Spinks took a dive, based primarily on how hard his head hit the canvas.

Spinks was without doubt one of the greatest fighters ever in the history.........what idiot wrote this???? I grew up not only watching boxing as a child but also fighting from my teens to my early 20's. Spinks was never a contender. Was never a great fighter. When he beat Larry Holmes, Larry was already fading away very fast. Now if you want to talk about greatness then let me introduce you to Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas "Hitman" Hearns, Marvelous Marvin Hagler or even the great one Roberto Durán

@didyaronamus Spinks was most definitely on of the greatest. he got all the belts at lt heavy and then went up to heavy and took them and in his 11 years pro fighting, prior to tyson he never lost a fight. how many boxers in history do you see doing that. If the boxer doesn't appeal to you or you just don't like him, that's fine but don't try and tell me Michael Spinks was never a contender or great because u r just being ignorant of the facts.

Spinks is 1 of the greatest lightheavys ever. He thought in an era when the lightheavys prob where at is best

and he never lost.

Sure Holmes wasnt at hes peak when Spinks beat him but he was still undefeated and was still a very good fighter.

Ontop of this Spinks also whooped Cooney who also was a good contender at the time.

Thanks for uploading, man. I wasn't born until 1989, so I never had the privileged of witnessing these fights on TV. Mike is definitely up there with Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Joe Luis as one of the all-time greats.
