  • Magic and

    TV

  • 2:15

  • Alla Peanutbutter Sandwiches!

  • @theadventuretimefan Have the Muslims complained about this being disrespectful yet?

  • Does anybody have the Big Bird/Snuffy bumper identified with a magician attempting a suspension act which failed prior to Big Bird and Snuffy's vaudeville act leading to a number clip? If so, could somebody please upload it?

  • Does Mumford keep leaving the stage when Harry comes on because both he and Mumford are voiced by Jerry?

  • At 3:03, the way Herry chased Grover was like he was saying "you said I should trust you but I fell."

  • From 2:27-2:44, if Herry was scared if he was going to fall, I wonder why he would get too scared since he is a very strong monster and I'm sure he wouldn't get hurt that badly since he has a lot of strength. (Of course, I'm sure he prepared himself well the moment he fell at 2:53 just so he can feel that he can fall in a way so he wouldn't get hurt).

  • How did Herry get special permission to get on the stage?

  • Maybe Herry walked through a door back stage and he was cutting across the stage not know that it was a theater he was in (the moment Herry came on screen, he looked like he didn't know where he was since he was singing not paying attention to anything) just to get somewhere and Grover just stopped him to ask him if he wants to do a trick.

  • wow hearing the magic words brought me back to being a child n triggered memories lol

  • I love the song Herry is singing to himself when he enters: "I was walking along......minding my business...."

  • wow are u frekin 2 yrs old

  • sounds like fozzie bear at the beginning

  • From this old trick, Grover wasn't really "levitating" at all. It's all merely an illusion done with strong, thin wires and pulleys.

  • in the battle of levitation vs gravity, herry and grover both lose lol

  • I love this! This is classic. "Hey Mumfy Babyyyyyy"! "Oh no". lol.

  • It was pretty funny when Herry Monster went after Grover at the end of this sketch.

  • Yes it was. When Herry was chasing after Grover at the end, it reminded me of the Harvey Kneeslapper skits whenever Harvey Kneeslapper plays his prank on the Fat Blue muppet whether it's Mr. Johnson or the black mustached Fat Blue muppet, both Fat Blue muppets chase after Harvey once he plays his prank on one of them.

  • Yep... that is all so very true! :D

  • ala peanut butter sandwiches lol! Harry monster always fell victim to grover's mischief

  • Yeah actually the look on herry's face before he chases grover is comic relief as well lol

  • Noob Sesame street people, MAKE MORE MUMFORD SCEENS! YOU ONLY MADE ON WITH COOKIE MONSTER!!!

  • Looking at all these clips from Sesame

Street, when I see Grover attemt the

platform trick with Herry, all this moment

needs is The Price Is Right Losing Horns

when Herry falls down, "Vaaaah!" CRASH!

The embarressed look on Grover's face

    says it all.

  • Hey Mumfy Babyyyy!

    Too funny.

  • i think mumford has the same voice as the guy that grover aggravates in the resturant skit :)

  • Yes it's Jerry Nelson.

  • Guess the moral of this piece is don't perform magic if you're not trained in it.

  • Mumford was so scary to me when I was a little girl!

  • LOL @ how Grover calls Mumford "Mumfy"!

  • oh my godQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • "Cute little Grover" :)

  • 1971

  • My, I haven't seen Mumford in years.

  • What year?
