  • is she pregnant in this video???

  • I am a beginner at tap dancing and this step in my class is called the Irish step. It may not be Irish dancing but it is the Irish step. It is hard for me to practice the various tap steps if I cannot remember exactly what they were and Emily's little lessons here are in line with what I am learning in the beginner tap class so they are very helpful to me. My teacher gave me a paper that has various steps written like this one--Shuffle, hop step, but it is easier to SEE them than to read them.

  • @MsHuladancer, it is an irish. I know that because I've been taking tap lessons since I was 3 years old. And yes you do cross, but that is only when you get very.. very good at it. This is just the basics. I always had the hardest time with this because I would get my feet mixed up. Luckly I wasn't the only one. :D Thanks for posting!

  • Thats not an irish, you supposed to cross

  • no no no!!!!!

  • cross your feet when travelling, arms should be straight down, and feet turned out the whole time!!!!!!!

  • thats so not irish tap dancing im a expert at it and thats not irish tap dancing

  • haha my studio just calls this "shuffle hop step". we're not big on the technical terms obviously lol

  • THAT WAS AWESOME !

    THANKZ FOR THA HELP !

DO iT NAKED NEXT TiME HOTTiE !

    -69

  • @meowneigh69 loser.

  • very nice!

  • she's so fucking hot !

  • @MazterzofDizazter get off the internet you loser.

  • mmmm...so wrong in so many ways...if you are ever thought to dance properly, your legs should cross, hands by your side, you will learn to balance in no time. her feet were splaying out all sides...not good technique at all!

  • uhm i think its shuffle hop cross

  • Thanks for the lesson!

  • I think this idiot's only exposure to anything "Irish" is the Lucky Charms cereal she eat that morning.

"little green men"...what the f is she talking about?

  • agreed

  • true

  • All the know-it-alls on here need to spend more time tapping and less time being critics. Make your own videos if you can do better. Me, I'll watch these.

  • this is just basic tap dance instruction just to get familiar with the basic step called The Irish

  • sorry , it is not irish dace it is tap so your steps, in the correct form would be , RALI HOP BACK not shoful hop step. You need cross your legs and feet, and put your arms behind you

  • she should cross those irishes

  • You have to do a million of these in tap dances.

  • im sorry but is that supposed to be irish dancing

if it is im sick of expert village putting up unexpert videos about stuff they dont know about

  • it's okay to be sorry. It says in the description that it is a move in tap dancing. Hence "The Irish" and not Irish Step Dance.

  • This is just a tap dance thing, there's a girl who actually does irish step dance instead of this crap, it's just hard to find in their archive

  • im irish and im not green :P

  • ''We;re going to take a look at the Irish,-not the little green guys..''

    - Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?! What ever drugs this woman is on, she needs to stop taking them. That was CRAP not TAP dear.

  • lol "THE IRISHES"

  • Anyone noticed how expertvillage does not seem very expert? Why? Why is that?

  • yeah, I have noticed that too and I dont get it, its so sad

  • @CailleachConnacht Then you get on and do it "expertly" you loser

  • @CailleachConnacht i hope you're aware that is not irish tap. this is a step called the irsh.

  • ho god, she killed the irish tap dance...

  • Yea i was thinking that like C'mon

  • I think that she wasnt dancing Irish Tap Dance, I think its just the move that is called The Irish

  • @enerumu I did Irish Dancing and this looks very similar to a technique we called treble. However in irish dancing it's done in double speed (way faster than this). This lady doesn't explain it much but then again i guess she's a tap dancing teacher and not an irish tap dancing teacher (same principals, very different ways of doing it. Like the others pointed, in order for this to be considered irish her hands should be at the sides, her shoulders straight, etc.)

    :)

  • @xiomilolo but there is so much more to irish stepdancing!

  • That video is a shame - That's not Irish dance...

  • It ISNT an irish dance, its a type of dance move in tap.

  • Its not irish dance, its just a tap dance step called "the irish"

Otherwise I would puke if she was trying to do irish dance

  • Thats totally not irish dance... what happened to turn out?
