I'm searching for a flash for Canon DSLR, between €0,00 and €150,00 I just want a powerful flash and a fast recycle time. Which flash should u recommend?
I've seen the YN-560 and the YN-565, which is the best for a beginner flash? I don't know if I need the ETTL. The YN-565 is twice the price of the YN-560 in my country.
It depends entirely what you need it for. if you are going to use it in a controlled environment where you can set 1 setting for the flash and keep using it then the 560 is fine. If you need to take pictures on the move and dont have time to retake or set up and where the conditions may change (even slightly) then you need the 565.
How is this YN-565 EX compared to Nissin Di622 MKII in function (minus the LCD) I'm getting one soon, but knows nothing about speedlights. Which one will you choose?
Hi, I have a problem with the optical flash at the YN-565.
When Im taking a picture with the Canon 500D's bullit in flash the YN flash fires but I cant see it in the pictures, it looks like it didnt do something at all.
my camera as same as yours - canon 500D.
dont you have a problem with the optical slave like I do?
actually i have one last important question: does the yn 565 still use the same capacitor that are used with the yn460 and 560? Yn's tend to blow their capacitors wayyyy sooner than canon's 580ex which is a pretty big deal when it comes to how durable a product is over it's use. I had a yn 460 II and the capacitor blew out. i really hope Yn addressed this in this flash.
Hi - this flash has no master mode, so unlike the Canon 580EX II it can't control other flashes - when it comes to the wireless ETTL mode the YN565 behaves more like the 430EX II - slave mode, but no master mode
just wondering if you can use the flash as a master and wirelessly trigger off another canon 430 ex ii or 580 ex ii as slaves .. also are you able to control the slaves directly from your camera .. thanks in advance ..
Can this be used for nikon?

Examples would be:

Wildlife, wedding, night life photography - YN565

At least this time it comes in a real case. My 560 only came in a cheap pouch.
