@MyTube1338 Dual 6990 will only boost minimal or nothing... Only place you'll find improvements is in 3D mark or unreal heaven.. So Quad's are only for looks, not performance.

Im embarrassed huh? - Not exactly, I'm unemployed and has been for a long time for personal reasons, and second I've been waiting on AMD to release their Radeon 6990 so NO, im not embarrassed at all and I wasn't trying to act all pc-expert on you sir.

I know for a fact that for example the HX850 can't run dual HD6970's so I'll probably need the AX1200 for 6990CF or even 6990+6950 later on and as said before, I'm just planning ahead.

@JooHaxDemoTaken Wow.. some people can't think forward at all - Do you really think I bought the PSU for my current system or do you think I bought it for future upgrades such as dual or more GPU's? I'd rather have more power NOW than I actually need instead of having to buy another PSU later on in case I need more power THEN. Geez -.-'

I just put together a very similar rig, with all the same specs except a HD5870 and less storage, it comes up to about $2000, or €1450. I'll be happy to make a closeup vid on my PC, be sure to subscribe!

I AM REALLY SURPRISED THE CORSAIR AX MODELS ARE HAVING SO MANY PROBLEMS. I KNOW CORSAIR PSU's HAVE DIPPED IN QUALITY FOR THEIR CHEAPER MID PRICED UNITS TO KEEP UP WITH ALL THE COMPETITION NOW DAYS, BUT ON THEIR TOP OF THE RANGE MODEL!!! SAD DAYS (sorry caps)

It started whining on the first startup, I've had this for four days. I asked the company I bought it from to test the PSU before they send me a replacement. Unfortunately lots of people are having problems with coil-whine on the AX1200.
