Like the book of Leviticus, for instance, isn't meant to define moral behaviors for regulat people, it's only meant for levite priests, yet alot of people twist its words around to suit their means. Also, since you're against the things organised religion gets away with, you should really look into the Westboro Baptist Church.
There seems to have been a big discussion about the "Holier than Thou" mentality of Christians. I'm (loosely) an Agnostic myself, but I think it's necessary to understand that all Christians aren't like that. I've been around them my whole life just about, I can say that most of them are really good people, who just happen to believe something I don't. Christians are constantly given a bad reputation, and I'm honestly a bit tired of it.

Actually that is a core belief and practice of the Christian faith, is not to force our beliefs on you, but at the same time we are told to spread the Word of God, and if no one ever spread the word then Christianity would die and that wouldn't be so good for the world. No one is trying to force anything upon you. But its not in the hands of my parents at all, I have voluntarily gone to church for about 6 years now, now I'm 20 and yes my parents took me to church before I chose to but at the age of a young teenager you can't expect to understand most of the things in church or with most things in life. I respectfully disagree on that last part you said. It seems like atheism is the easy answer to those who are don't want to be held accountable to what they've done. But that's through a Christian's perspective, and what you said is through an Atheist's perspective. It is utterly impossible for all those men to write the entire Bible without God's help. But its not in the hands of my parents at all, I have voluntarily gone to church for about 6 years now, now I'm 20 and yes my parents took me to church before I chose to but at the age of a young teenager you can't expect to understand most of the things in church or with most things in life. During all of high school and college I have been told that I'm a hypocrite/ignorant, or a blind fool to follow Christianity, do you have any idea what its like to go to school and be told that.

Three-you can't really make a comparison between Christianity and Scientology, I don't even consider Scientology a religion, like you said its a cult that takes money from people. Four- you can't really say that your against all religion cause Atheism is technically a religion.

I respectfully disagree on that last part you said. It seems like atheism is the easy answer to those who are don't want to be held accountable to what they've done. But that's through a Christian's perspective, and what you said is through an Atheist's perspective. So we both have our own beliefs, and I'm glad we can discuss it intelligently without ripping each other apart.

Shard as you probably know I am Christian, and yes I believe everything that the Bible says word for word. It wasn't just written by men alone, God showed and told them what to write. It is utterly impossible for all those men to write the entire Bible without God's help. Some of them weren't even alive at the same times, how do you explain the accuracy of each book to each other without some divine intervention. Just figured I'd put my 2 cents in, great vid.

I do believe in God. However I do not go to church because all these people that go to church are all hypocrites. Who talk about love and forgiveness.
