i've had that rapala you first showed, and in my opinion, you should be incredibly careful about that type of rapala. it gets caught on anything very easily.
ya the reason corporations do all the details on the top because alot of fishermen just buy because the bait looks good. haha most baits appeal more to the fishermen than to the fish. and you should invest in rapala Xraps they are my favorite theyre slash baits and they drive bass crazy.
Thanks for the tips. I will try trolling with the Rapla stick baits. Another way that works good with the Rapla stick baits is to use the on top water or like a jerk bait.
yeah i have the bigfoot scumfrogs and i have had one hit so far. Get a scumfrog original i have had well over 400 bass hit in the past 4 years they are hard to set the hook when bass r not aggressive
love the mann's baby 1 minus in the baby bass color. i've caught most of my bass on that lure. gone through 5 or 6 of them. plastic frogs are great. don't have any of the regular scumgrogs, just the bigfoot and i haven't got anything on that yet. but the SPRO bronzeyes and the koppers live target frogs are great. Strike King's KVD series squarebill cranks are great too. upgrade hooks to gamakatsu red #2's and those things are money.
if you like the the scum frop try the bigfoot variation of it. Also check out the LiveTarget Kopper frog.. ive caught more bass on those than all the other tackle in my box.
