would this be a good pc build? Coolermaster HAF X 942, Intel core i7 2700k, XFX ATI RADEON 6970 2GB, Asus P8Z68-V-GEN3 Intel Mainboard - LGA 1155, Corsair vengeance 1gb, XFX 850W XXX Edition Semi-Modular PSU 80+ Silver, LG Blu-Ray Reader & DVD/CD Burner (CH12LS28), Noctua NH-D14 All-In-One Extreme Performance CPU Cooler, Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB, OCZ Agility 3 Series 120GB 2.5" SSD Sata 6Gbs,
Hi can you tell me why you're using a rheobus (the Shythe Fan Controller) together with the Lamptron Hummer? They look great together, but I would like to know why you are using them together and how you have connected them. Thanks
@peocaveo I have the Scythe fan controller connected with the fans around the PC. And the Lamptron is connected separate with the cathode lights that turn on my bottom red lights and the top blue lights.
3.0 usb is available to connect throught the back but my motherboard at the current moment is Gigabyte EX58 UD3r and not available for this build. But it is definitely future proof in case I do upgrade. =)
@brandonlconnor Yes, the case comes with one 200 mm. fan on top for exhaust, and I just simply replaced the stock with 2 Coolermaster blue led fans. I love this case and one of the reason I went with this case rather then the Nvidia was because of the green tinted side panel window. I wanted 2 different colors, hot red on bottom and cool blue on top so I needed a clear side panel.
@brandonlconnor yes I did rought them through the rear of the PC. My Gigabyte motherboard doesnt support USB 3.0 so I added a 3.0 USB onto PCI expansion slot.
@MegaFoShow yes I agree with ur comment. At the time of selecting a case, I researched through a series of cases. My 2 final choices were either HAF X or Corsair Obsidian. I went with this case and I never regret making this choice. There is just soo much room to work on in this full size case and also the wire management was a breeze because of the extra room behind the motherboard tray. I really recommend this case.
Enjoyed the custom switches...maybe later you can wire some toggle switches (fighter style) or maybe some lighted push button switches...I plan on switching all my LED's to white (probably next year) and wiring them all to the top panel switch...
what cpu cooler is that?

How would I make the 2 top fans the same? Can I remove the stock one to put two of the same 200mm fans in? (or 230mm forgot what they are)
Don't want 2 different types hehe
How are you liking this case by the way? I wanna get the nvidia version.
