@WSXnTNA4Life you can't really compare a stand alone game with it's own characters to a cross over game. DCvMK<MVC. But in my opinion both series have aged well but not at a consistant rate (SF with the EX series)(MK4-DCvMK) but I gotta give props to MK for being the cause of a rating system :)

@brokenKcik123 Not quite true man. The ESRB was created after the Sega Saturn CD game "Night Trap" was created. Search and get some laughs.

Mortal Kombat however did force the ESRB to revamp their rating system and to this day is considered one of the pioneers in video game violence. (nothing you cant see on cable tv nowadays)

This is the only best game of the Marvel Capcom crossover. The ONLY capcom crossover with no top tiers. (Excluding the hidden characters) Unlike MvC 2 & 3. This gets you hyped. Marvel 2 & 3....not so much. I'm sorry but i was deeply disappointed with MvC3. MvC2 was broken as hell. THIS game should have been remade. Not 2.

The 1st 2 were amazing and MvC 2 & 3 are great as well, but theres something about this one that just sticks out more, whenever I think of VS it's usually this game that I think of, I guess it's due to the character choices, they made no mistakes about the character roster here....except I would have much preferred Thor over Roll....why they put here in a VS game in the first place is beyond me...

I'll always prefer this game more that MvC2. Why? Because the the cast of characters in this game is much more balanced. And if this game was online, there would most likely be less a-holes that would just back up and shoot projectiles at you or just infinite combo you to death. Freakin a-holes would just pick Cable, Juggernaut, and Sentinel constantly and MvC2 wouldn't be fun.

An old Wal-Mart near my house used to have this game. Nowadays, the arcades at Wal-Mart are terrible now.
