ive always wanted to join the honor guard since i first saw them. im in AFJROTC and am on the specialty exhibition rifle team. looking forward to my future career in the air force i thought, "hey i might be able to join the honor guard!"
I'm a (former) marine and as much as I want to say the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon yada yada yada....I gotta say that THAT WAS EFFIN SHARP!!! OUT-FREAKIN-STANDING AIRMEN!!!
It's been 7 years since I left the Guard. My last Team performance was Sept 01. We didn't travel at all the rest of the year. Regardless, watching the vid I noticed my hands still hurt but I'd got back again in a second!!
It's great that you have ambitions to be a part of the team but I have to tell you that about 30 out of 315,000 do this at any given time. Oh, and previous experience really means nothing. But keep your priorities straight once u get in, work hard, and maybe one day you'll get ur chance. If and when that time comes, let me assure u it'll be one of the hardest and best things you've ever been a part of. U have my guarantee.
absolutely awesome, joining in June this year, and most likely 90% chance of me doing this, because of my armed drill team in High School, placed first two weeks ago!!
That Moses guy sounds familiar, i wonder if its the same one I went to Security Forces Tech School with. If it is, that boy's doing big things now!!!!
hey DrillDAWG, im sure you know... what is the sequance at 3:20 called? I know how to do it, I learned it by watching the Nellis demo video on youtube, but right now I just call it the "Woah! what was that dude" because the guy in the background said that! lol

From the ground it's called " exaggerated self toss". The move is a combination of three tosses. Exaggerated self toss, front toss, and front double.
