i'm going to catch a lot of hell for saying this but i tend to like christian music that sounds more like secular music...i mean, i love the positive messages...but every song doesn't have to be about god or jesus or have biblical references in this...just put out some positive vibes, which is what most contemporary christian music does...

@Kellogs43able I agree. With the advent of christian bands (i.e. Lifehouse - Spin, Anberlin - Paper Thin Hymn, and Paramore - When It Rains) they make it easy for both sides to appreciate. And that's what music is really about: bringing people together.

I have to agree with you, even though I LOVE songs that are focuses strictly on God and stuff. But, Songs like this one, and Richard Marx "Right here waiting", and Stevie Curtis Chapman and so on, they are such beautiful songs, and some of the most beautiful songs in the world.
And, this song especially can be for anything. I sang this song at the funeral of one of my good friends who committed suicide. SO, it's universal. Such a beautiful song.

Wow! When I was a little girl,this song was played frequently on Our local gospel station in My hometown...It was the only station My sisters and I were allowed to listen to.
Seeing the video helps me to see the song in a whole new light....There is nothing spiritual about this video, and Micheal W. Smith doesn't mention God ONCE....
