This is such an excellent song. So beautiful and yet so painful too. This song really touches my heart. I do wish they had put this out on an album. Alot of their best songs did belong on Albums!! I LOVE this song. Best thing the Cure has done in years. Unfortunately they didn't feel it worthy of a proper release. Bad on them. And what is up with the Dio stuff around here? The Cure were never and would never have been a part of that scene. Not that I am lessening your loss fans of Dio. It just doesn't make much sense.

@tdoesntmatter i love the cure (the most) and i ALSO love R.J.DIO, good music is good music. although i do love the cure more than all others, i like almost all kinds of music except country, opera, and 98% of any band of any genre in the last 10 years. when Mr. Dio died i felt bad for him, myself and his fans, since most dio fans are not cure fans i thought i would share THIS SONG of loss with them. it is about the lyrics and the subject matter, not keeping the cure within the cure family.

This song touches my heart so deeply. I have lost some very close people in my life in these last few years and when i visit their graves I cry for them. I cant let them go. I just cant. I dont want to face my life without them but I know i must go on and carry their memories with me so they are never forgotten but I wish they could come back to me. I can feel the pain in this song and I can fully relate to its meaning. Such a beautiful song with such deep emotional meaning. The Cure forever!!

I still think The Cure's best was up through Wish. After that album, it's been totally hit and miss. This song is hit, though. His voice is very good here and no one can bring across sadness and loneliness like Robert. He's a songwriting genius.
