Lennon was the first to use guitar feedback. I hate how the MEDIA has been controlling all the T.V. MUSIC STATIONS and there's nowhere to learn about this kind of stuff. THE BEATLES INVENTED SO MANY THINGS THAT OTHER PEOPLE TAKE CREDIT FOR. THEN WE WONDER WHY THERE'S NO GOOD ROCK ACTS OUT ANYMORE
@GHOSTakaOzz Yes Ofcourse (lol), Lennon used feedback all the time sure, I will give you $100 for every video of Lennon using feedback. T.V Stations dont control video.
Wow!! Its like science fiction or something... with his eyes closed its like he articulates the turning of the earth or birth of stars.. cosmic sounds! His music is timeless... people will be studying what he did forever.. its just so great how it was captured on film for us to appreciate. He was the Mozart of the twentieth century RIP Jimi :) Thanks for this upload!!
@w0rdisbond this film existed on vhs cassettes, but that goes back to the 80's. Great concert...at a moment after playing a number you can read on his lips..."mother fuckers".
@al18631963 he didnt play on stage with hendrix at woodstock if that's what you meant. Santana was 22 when he played woodstock. He was tripping so much acid and was told that his group had to go on earlier than expected. He was scared to death because he didn't know how it was going to go being high and all but they told him if you don't play now you won't be able to play at all. said his guitar turned into an electric snake lol
roy buchanan was the first to do everything, it didnt take until the late sixties for feedback to be used

HENDRIX WAS THE BEST! HE TOOK SOMETHING THAT'S NORMALLY CONSIDERED UNPLEASANT AND AN ACCIDENT AND MADE IT AN ART FORM!!!! JIMI LIVES!!!

The beginning of Machine Gun - Copenhagen 1970 is a very cool example of Hendrix feedback. Hell the whole song is obviously unbelievable!
