Hey Thanks for checking out the video and taking the time to comment :O) To answer your Questions - Ive always played barefoot , Ive never felt comfortable playing in sneakers/shoes. The change in sound you mentioned is from my camera - I upgraded a bit :O) The drum kits in the videos are mapex saturn kits and tuned about the same. I will for sure check out you grooves ... this is awesome...i've found a good way to learn 11/8 is by listening to eleven by primus, its hell easy and gets the time sig stuck in your head!

Good drumming. 11/8 is not really hard. It's kind of easy when you know 15/16 odd signature... :)
