  • That's alot of rpms for plastic if you think about it I'm surprised it didn't fall apart at all at that speed

  • now you need something to put it in

  • cool. What does "rpm" mean?

  • @ahodina9811 RPM means Revolutions Per Minute. or rotations per minute .

the number of full rotations completed in one minute around a fixed axis/shaft

  • Never run an engine without oil.

  • And I've made a lego house today...

  • Needs juice.

  • Oil?

  • that still sounds twice as good as a honda

  • 24 people don't have LEGOS at home

  • is that glued together?

  • Comment removed

  • @spader111click

Damnit I was just about to say that lol

  • So you need an air compressor to power the engine?

  • @ihave2rocks Yes.

  • @ihave2rocks a lego compressor or full size compressor?

  • @ihave2rocks well if not you could also blow into the tube

  • how much $

  • @ihave2rocks The LPEpower V8 is 299 euros.

  • Insert finger

  • wow! very cool!

  • c'est pas possible on dirait un LEGO

  • DUDE HYBRID AS SHIT.... NICE!!!!!!!!!

  • how much HP lol?

  • 2.5 hp ha ha

  • @TheStevester2 wow nice you can build now scooter

  • Can you make a rotary engine now?

  • wtf, that's so awsome!!!! XD

  • Were do u get that yellow rpm piece

  • 0:03 ah i love that dodge sound :)

  • I can't imagine the frictions between the blocks. Will completely wear down the plastics if prolong running it. It's very cool.

  • can u imagine putting that in a lego car :|

  • so when its gonna start ? o.O

  • how this work??

  • I'd love to see a Lego 9 or 18 cylinder radial engine. Now THAT would be cool!

  • Civic Engine?

  • @Portum5 hahahahaha

  • Now don't get the timing off because it will blow up into a million pieces if you do

  • How is this lubricated?

  • sounds like a tractor

  • how do you deal with the heat and friction?

  • Coooooooooool :-)

  • I think I found my next big block build.

  • where can i buy that?

  • @budz1031 on the LPEpower homepage.

  • I love it

  • put your finger in it =P

  • modify to run on gasoline=WINNING!

  • stick your finger in it.

  • wie baut man so was

  • wie baut man so was

  • однако мощный двигатель

  • need a supercharger + blower

  • needs a bigger cam haha

  • how many horses does that thing have

  • a good steam engine

  • Nice sound!

  • you should make it work with fuel!

  • don´t you worry of runnung it at so high rpm? and does it heat up?

  • There is an aweful ticking noise from your cylinder head

  • but will it blend?

  • I think it has a tick...

  • nice... how much HP does it have?

  • so if you hooked up a little boiler with steam pressure would you technicaly have a engine?

  • Sound like it needs an oil change!

  • 2012 PRIUS engine

  • @FLCLCBSC sounds better than a prius too

  • thats cool as hell! i love your small motors but this takes the cake

  • is that made entirely from lego pieces?

  • dude I think you might be on to something with this idea. it could teach idiots like me about how an engine works with something I can relate to! nice work

  • haha stick a finger in there XD

  • This begs the question: Can a fully functional Lego car be done?

  • That's nuts

  • Smells like burning plastic...

  • sounds like my honda civic.......vtec just kicked in yo

  • I gotta echo eurotrends. I absolutely love how when you let it idle and rev it, it actually sounds like a real V8 that's just had a few sound filters run over it to raise the pitch and drop any bass.

  • this is the engine of tomorrow!!!

  • this is my favorite engine you made. I really wish you sold these on your site.

  • @dacasman It's also useless shit. The ones i sell on my site are MUCH better.

  • @nicjasno why is it useless shit? I like your other engines too, but If I were to buy one of these it would be to display it, and I like the look and sound of this one more.

  • @dacasman I guess if you had it for display only... but it uses up 8 switches, it has soft tubing which pops out under load and the crankshaft just bends when under stress. It's totally useless as a powersource.

  • @nicjasno useless or not, its still cool

  • @dacasman were did u get the speed thing?

  • could be used in one of those lego production lines as a power source

  • Its a real explosion motor fueled by gasoline? or use other kind of fuel? Electric? phneumatic perhaps?

  • Its a real explosion motor fueled by gasoline? or use other kind of fuel?

  • @greatgnomex It's pneumatic. Works simmilar to a steam engine, but with compressed air instead of steam.

  • @greatgnomex It's pneumatic. Works simmilar to a steam engine, but with compressed air instead of steam.

  • @nicjasno i love this engine because when you rev it up at a low rpm it sounds like an alcohol drag engine, probably why i would buy one, the other ones don't sound as good, also it would be for display, i would probably use one of your other engines for my model drag car because my pneumatic engine sucks :s

  • @greatgnomex If this engine would use gasoline, it would make much more noise.

  • if you dislike this you put ur finger in the piston

  • Why the hell would anyone dislike this?

  • how much BHP? =]

  • @brandon9491 OVER NINE THOUSAND! lol

  • This is not an engine, but a motor requiring compressed-air as it's power source, or not ?

  • @DlABL0GlCAL correction it runs like a steam engine and it is tecnically an engine

  • There is only one drawback with this engine. It lacks the smell of fuel

  • thats cool as sh*T. i want one!!!

  • the future of Toyota.

  • Wow, it even sounds like a real v8...kind of...:D

  • If it ever melted, you could just melt it down into a new engine.

  • :o awesome

  • theres some crazy shiit on this world

  • well that puts my lego space ship to shame...

  • could i power my wife like that?

  • i could run my vw on this...

  • Must be internal combustion

  • you should put tiny tacks in it, then shove it in someone's face...god im seriously fucked up arent i?

  • where can you get lego pneumatics these days without purchasing an entire kit? I cannot find them anywhere!

  • imagine, an iphone and ipad powered by this thing!!

  • It's naturally balances by the v-8 shape, right?

  • what makes it go?

  • @kenope compressed air

  • Where do you get spark plugs that small?

  • Lego RC derby car race.

  • I was waiting for legos to go flying everywhere

  • It sounds good.

  • You ever get your finger caught in that thing?

  • People, the reason why common combustion engines run hot, is mostly because of... well... COMBUSTION. This is not a combustion engine.

Sure the cylinders might get a little temperature from friction alone, but the creator said he used lube.

  • But can it run Crysis?

  • Did you lubricate the cylinders? (serious question)

  • Does/can it actually drive anything?

  • @alexgeekcouk look at his other videos

  • this is the answer to a greener car! LEGO engines!

  • SOMEBODY got to much tym on ther hands haha.

  • @tecumsehmike1 Who's Tym? You should invite him over sometime

  • @laheysafckindrunk wut if itsa her?

  • @tecumsehmike1 Then make sure the lights are off, cause I think a her tym might be scary

  • 22 people have never tried to build anything with Lego before...

  • could you please post a video on how you made it

  • It sounds like a rotary engine ~.~

  • LoL that is nice :P even have the V8 sound.. :)

  • How about installing it into a LEGO trunk or super car?

  • how strong is it?

  • is running on gas ?

  • compressed air?

  • i love legos

  • is this one of those peumatic ones or a normal lego one

  • i think someone should make a lego car a person can actually get into and drive

  • Now all that needs to be done is build a car around it.

  • How many miles per gallon?

  • Who the fuck hit "dislike" ???

  • @frenchi1986 'bout 21 ppl who dont have lego

  • @nightfoxx26 "I pity the foo who doesn't have Lego Technic!"

  • now build it a tranny lol

  • Great Maestro!!

  • I can see you making a lego gocart next! :) Thats an awsome little engine you have there!! I built a v6 plastic model one and broke the flywheel! All them hours were wasted! I bought another but never even opened the box! That was years ago!

  • show how you built it would be very cool

  • Sounds like an 80's mercedes... :)

  • Holy shit that's cool

  • Have you ever considered doing an I6?

Also, would some sort of turbo charger work with this? XD

  • how ironic.

  • thats what i call "air cooled" :D

  • Ayyy Where Can U But Dat ? !

  • You are a Genius!

  • dont you worry about the engine running to hot?

  • @Chokermax No, because it doesn't get hot at all.

  • @nicjasno The friction from the plastic pieces rubbing will eventually cause them to melt, I believe thats what he meant about the "heat"

  • @sacr3 I know what he ment. But the friction is minimal, especially due to lubrication. And its additionally cooled by the air. It doesn't even get warm to the touch.

  • @nicjasno ya, i was gonna say, if designed properly (which it clearly is) there will not be sufficient friction present to produce heat. good job!

  • @nicjasno OR maybe it was just a joke? dingdingding

  • @nicjasno LOL. I think he was joking.

  • @nicjasno wild.

  • @nicjasno well of course not.. its plastic and it doesn't conduct heat worth a crap..

  • Comment removed

  • @Chokermax too

  • @Chokermax its lego man XD

  • put it in a car

  • is this an actual gas combustion engine? or a replica powered by elect?

  • @bettydaw1970 Neither. It's powered by compressed air.

  • @nicjasno

well its artifically run then as if it was run with electricity, its not an actually functioning engine, just a display

  • @bettydaw1970 It runs like a steam engine, with the compressed air replacing steam. No electricity involved. The engine provides ample power to move heavy lego vehicles, as seen in my other videos.

  • @nicjasno

    thats awesome man!!!!

    do u see them?

  • Comment removed

  • @nicjasno then why would multiple cylinders matter.... it isnt going to make it more powerful
