    Ingredients:

2 & 1/2 cups SR flour (or plain with 2 tsp baking powder)

    1 cup brown sugar

    1 tsp ground cinnamon

    125g butter (melted)

    2 eggs

  • im Making this for Fathers Day thumbs up if you AGREE!! =D

  • I Made this today, and i am eating some right now. By far, the best thing i have ever made :) Thanks for the recipe :)

  • man, size doesnt matter! lol

  • It DOES make a difference how ripe the bananas are. You saw it yourself he had a bit of a trouble mashing the bananas. They NEED to be overripe aka freckeled so that its easier to mash them and so the bread tastes better.

  • @mrjuls070 Faggot.

  • what if I use wheat flour, would I need to use baking powder? BTW this looks GREAT!!

  • Was that a serious question...

  • Can you make pumpkin bread?

  • I just made this... it didn't come out good :(

But I still love you Nicko ;)

  • @200522333 I made it and it was fantastic. Perhaps you didn't follow instructions correctly? It was even yummier the next day.

  • I'm doing it! it's in the oven now =)

  • if it has eggs its a cake

    if it doesn't its bread

  • @donnyab so brioche is..... a cake? uhm....

  • @donnyab You are funny LOL its the sugar that determines if its a cake or not LOL and its shape makes it to be called bread.

  • lmfao

    i lie big bananas

  • I'll bake this, but what can I replace the walnuts with? I'm allergic to those..

  • @SonnyFlashkicker - Pecans are good in this (:

  • @shaunneildsir Pecans would be nice. They have a great taste to them just like almonds do. Walnuts arent my thing so I would use either pecans or almonds.

  • He's so violent with his batters

  • Can anyone direct me to where the "more info" is below for the recipe??? I give up! :(

btw who likes small "bananas"??? Whats wrong with this guy lol...

  • @nsharifp its under the video and it says show more

not sure if you were being serious hahah

  • can u use plain sugar

  • Can i too use this mixture to make muffins? How will they differ?

  • haha fat australian

  • you know it really is better to use over ripe bananas it gives the bread a sweeter taste. That's why my family used to make banana bread whenever we had left over bananas left out that were just about to spoil. There not much good for eating anymore but they make a delicious bread. Save the fresh bananas for a regular fruit snack.

  • ama try this. =).. i have a question how many minutes in the oven and what temperature in °h?

  • @kellyparcerita 180 Celsius for 45 mins

  • Fun fact: eating one single banana gives you a higher dose of radiation than living 50 miles from a (functional) nuclear power plant for a year.

  • @kristian2meter Thats true, but our bodies also excrete that same amount of potassium-40 which is naturally occuring. Hence, our potassium-40 levels do not increase after eating a banana. In short, eating a banana does not increase natural radiation levels. =)

  • @Gogoplata205: You are both correct, however there is a limited radiation DOSE assosiated with eating a banana not a radiation power. If the potassium-40 did remain in the body indefinately, the radiation dose would depend on the remaining life span of the individual consumer. However, there is good data about how long an indigested amount of potassium remains in the body, this time is multiplied by the radiation power, and the result is the dose .

  • i don't like bananas i like "fat china" cake ;)

  • Fat lisp fuck

  • I like thick bananas and kinda big

  • i like big bananas .. hope that helps u in your future cooking.

  • I don't have a loaf pan, but can I use a circle shaped pan?

  • i love how when i watch this i see all the same brands i have coz im from australia 2

  • its more like a banana cake not a bread...

  • lmfao! "how big do you like your bananas?"

  • I made this on Sunday 5th December in a large baking tray. MY BROTHER ATE PRACTICALLY ALL OF IT THE SAME DAY!!

Next time I'll make it when I know he's not coming around, heh heh!

  • I replaced the 1/2 cup walnuts with chocolate chips. It's chilling right now. Hope it turns out. Thanks for the recipe...

  • nicko, you forgot to mention the amounts, I want to make this banana bread but I didn't understand how many wheat and such should I use

  • @ameliaBerlin28 its all in the info box.

  • I personally favor ripe bananas because theyre a bit sweeter and higher in bananaflavor, but as you said its up to you.

  • Substitute Walnuts for choc chips. Trust me. Makes it better :D

  • I like this alot, Can you tell me if I can substitute the butter with oil? and instead of brown I'd like to use raw would this be fine and would the amounts change?

Only person who's ever asked that question, and I absolutely prefer the smallest ones I can find. The smaller the banana, the more custard-like the texture.

  • this looks pretty delish. ill give it a try and comment back. when i make banana bread i use peacans and vanilla extract. as a dessert it goes well with vanilla ice cream! i also think they say overly ripe because its easier to mash. (though the riper the banana the sweeter it taste)

  • biggggg bananas :D
