Yes! this sample is from the movie Carrie (1976) , from Pino Donnagio "contest winners" track. I watched Carrie last night and recognized this beat immediately but couldn't figure out where I knew it from. Just spent an hour tracking it down

Whole song is just Ill. Used to play this hard cruisin back in 2001-2002. When the violin comes at the end just puts the icing on. The ryme to this song is actualy quite dope. A talented artist wrote them. A person with with just a basic like of music can't really appreciate the deep artistry of the lryical side of this track. The beat IS off the scale though.
