To be technical, Natsume made this game, which is all the more the shame, because it seems that this game is even worse than the Fighting Edition and the Original SNES Power Rangers game, and the only thing improved is the sound engine used for the music, which is obviously lifted from the Fighting Edition.
This is a great game that deserves a higher score. But still it could have been more related to the movie. If the only hade used the Power Rangers to its full potential.... Jason David Frank I love you!!
this game is not bad in my opinion, but not great. i think that the genesis version is much worse than this one (the genesis version follows the movie unlike the snes version, but the fact that you fight two types of enemies, putty patrol and oozemen is pointless), while the snes version has no connection with the movie, except the fact that you fight ivan ooze.
Alright, you're right that it doesn't pertain to the movie much at all, but much of the stuff you said was very biased or not thought out. You said using a character's ability rather than morphing is useless, but it may prove to be a useful strategy, as once you get to the boss, you'll morph automatically, no power required. And you said the abilities are pretty much the same? Sad that you fail to see the difference between scattering explosives, doing a flipping kick, and firing a ki blast.
it would be sweet if they actually took the time to make an actual power rangers game the way it should be. maybe they could make one similar to super smash bros brawl or something that isnt so dang ez or with no secrets unlockables etc. ive played every game and am a huge ranger fan, all i ask is for an addictive big ranger game that i'd expect from the rangers. all the rangers, zords, enemys how cool would that be...they have the ability to make it its just if they will or wont do it.
Actually, the Turbo movie isn't a sequel to the first movie. The first movie doesn't fit into the TV show, while Turbo is in fact the transition movie from Zeo to Turbo.
I really like both versions of these games even tho we all that the genesis version has the most accuracy.BTW in the game boy version you do play with them in there ninja forms
The game by this name on the genesis used pretty much the whole soundtrack... From the tv show :O wich is strange since all the games that are actually based on the show are usualy sparce on addapted music other then the main theme.
Yeah, this game was pretty bad. The megadrive version was far superior. It actually followed the storyline, had cutscenes and, what is by far the most important thing for any power rangers game, zord battles.
Funny that a concept that would have been much better as a video game to start out was made rather into a crappy TV show. And then the video game version of THAT ended up sucking even further.
04:18- 04:41 looks like the snes version broke the fourth wall LOL
