  • It absolutly amazes me that people have the audacity, conceit and wherewithall to not only complain to this uploader, but, about Blender itself! ITS FREE! Plus, this person DIDNT have to create this tutorial at all. They gain nothing and want nothing from anyone, they're just doing it to be kind. Shame on anyone who complains, bitches and moans or gripes about ANY of it.

BTW, Thanx for taking time out your own schedule to create this. Its much appreciated. Take Care

  • @Brooklyn0merta thankyou so much! ;u;

  • how do you get into edit mode?!?!?!?

  • Will this program fry my computer if I try to use it with only an integrated chip instead of a graphics card? -___-;

  • @ChibiDoodlebug That is a very good question, one I don't think alot of people have an awnser too, I would try looking on google, and if that dosen't work, ask the question on the blender.org forums

  • @ChibiDoodlebug

Blender is a graphically intense program and its rendering performance is based on your dedicated memory for graphics. A graphics card is must if you plan on working with detailed 3d models.

  • @HesterMgmtGroup Thankfully I'm FINALLY about to have a computer with an actual video card! :D

  • hey megan ive looked at all your videos and its inspired me to start blender :D tiny problem i cant grab using g a corner or in blender lingo a vertice ?

  • @Karan62origami Ok make you're in edit mode! Then grab a verticie with either your left mouse button or the box selection tool, B

  • Your Blender looks so different from mine!

I hope everything still works the same :|

  • 4:03

  • NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I PRESS "E". HELP ME PLS!

  • @Toxiop make sure you're in edit mode!

press Tab to make sure you're not in object mode and make sure you have verticies selected

  • This is gonna sound rubbish but how do I grab a vertices?

  • @123manny321 to grab one verticie, just right click it and use the G key to move it around.

to grab more then one, use the B to select more verticies and press the G key to move them

  • where did you get 2.49, I got only a 2.5 verzion.

  • thanks amazing work :D

  • wow thx, this sudenly worth subscribing for! thanks for posting this!

  • Very nice but i can't download blender 2.49 it inly blender 2.57 and i don't no wath is the software blender 2.57 you can explic me please thank you!!!!

  • Thank you...just what I was looking for. Other tutorials get ahead of themselves and over complicate when all I was looking for was baby steps to get me started. This was very simple and concise.

  • she has windows seven but is using blender 2.0???? the 2.5 BETA versions are out there

  • @itman131313 Perhaps I should change the title.

    I'm using blender 2.49

2.0 just means its my second blender tutorial.

  • @Meegz0 when i said 2.0 i ment the 2.5. sorry

  • @Meegz0 by the way u go on facebook often??

  • Subscribed.... going to try this out after I download all parts and splice the video into 1.

  • Hi, I usually frown upon peops what music is being played along with the vid ... but I really have to ask, what is this music playing :) I think it provides a nice calming influence when creating models myself. I'm such a hypocrite :)

Nearly forgot to say that I find this a fantastic blender tutorial. I'm used to 3d Canvas and 3ds Max and it can be difficult to "de-program" when moving to another application.

Thanks again for the tutorials, bye

  • is there like a free hand tool

  • Wow...i was close to stop modeling before even starting til i seen this, now i don't wanna hurler my pc and blender into the pits of hell! Blender has a horribly and messy interface, but this really helps. TY! /hug

  • @ElskorProductions I'm so glad I was able to help out! :D

  • i hate all the shortcuts that blender has. An inteface should be simple to use without using the keyboard so much.

  • @creejay exactly what i think :/

  • @creejay If you don't like using keyboards alot, you can try Autodesk 3Ds Max(or something) If you're a student you can send the autodesk guys your student proof of ID and get the student pakage for free. That specific program basicly uses the mouse 95% of the time

  • wow why was i expecting a guy...

  • i cant im too baked... damn music

  • NOTHING IS WORKING ON MYNE BUT THE ROTATE AND GRAB WHOLE MODEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH its really pissing me off can you help

  • uhmm when i press the b(boxing) key i get a cross thingie i dont understand how to use it i checked your tutorial 1.000000000000 times but i still dont know is there another way to seclect the boxing tool?

  • @DarkZabuza177 I'm pretty sure a cross hair of some sort will apear, but, press B twice and you should see a circle like tool, just click and hold over the areas you want to select with it :)
