No entiendo como los gobiernos no llevan ayuda a esa gente para que por lo menos tengan semillas para sembrar y que coman, no nesesitan limosna nesesitan tecnologia y aprender a aplicarla, es horrible ver a los niños desnutridos mientras los gobienos gastan en armas miles de veces mas que lo que costaria alimentarlos a todos un año no digamos un dia, y si en lugar de esto les dieran erramientas para ellos mismos no estarian en tan desastroza situacion son el basurero de la verguenza mundial.

Of course I feel compassion for these children but I can't help but wonder why these people keep having children when they know they can't feed them. Help me understand. @peoplepassion Of course they can have children. I only wonder why they have so many... I once saw a heartbreaking documentary about Somalia. There was a mother with a 3 year-old and a baby. The baby was fat because he got al the food, and the toddler was almost dead by starvation, because the mother thought she had at least one child alive if she did it like that. My question: why did she have this second child? Why didnt she just feed her first child and not have a second child at all?

I always dreamt of having 5 children, but now I know I can only support two, so I have two children and nót 5. Don't have more kids than you ever can support. It's just a simple nature rule. I don't know what can be done that will really help them. What will happen is a collapse of the fiat currency system before human life is valued more than a dollar. I still can't understand why there are people starving in the world like this, it breaks my heart - if everyone just took it seriously for one year we could solve this prolem forever - the amount of money wasted on Christmas and other holidays is a joke - Christmas is about celebrating love & family and the birth of Jesus Christ - not spending money. One year, that's all it would take. I cry myself to sleep with guilt over children dying of hunger, and i'm only 18.

Of course I feel compassion for these children but I can't help but wonder why these people keep having children when they know they can't feed them. Help me understand. And I tend to agree with mamavanR in the sense that if we were able to help all of the millions of starving children; what would happen as soon as they were old enough to have children? The baby was fat because he got al the food, and the toddler was almost dead by starvation, because the mother thought she had at least one child alive if she did it like that. My question: why did she have this second child? Why didnt she just feed her first child and not have a second child at all?

@peoplepassion You don't get my point? In my example the mother had enough resources to feed one child, but not enough for two. So I wonder: why two children? I always dreamt of having 5 children, but now I know I can only support two, so I have two children and nót 5. Don't have more kids than you ever can support. It's just a simple nature rule. That counts for every species, animals and humans. So, yes, if you're poor, you can't have many kids, that's the only way of fixing 'the' problem.

Women are often married at young ages, and are forced into intercourse. I don't think any mother would want their child to starve to death, or die of AIDS. We can send money, food and people to educate them on contraception and safe sex, and hopefully this ongoing tragedy slowly eases.

The hardest part is, that if we help all those children, they will have children, and in 15 - 20 years you'll see the same images, maybe even worse. I don't know what can be done that will really help them. The only long term solutions is so inhumane, it will never happen (letting them starve to reduce their numbers, so they can take care of themselves). So, every year I send some of my money, probably enlarging the problem, but I don't know what else to do. It's hard...

I still can't understand why there are people starving in the world like this, it breaks my heart - if everyone just took it seriously for one year we could solve this prolem forever - the amount of money wasted on Christmas and other holidays is a joke - Christmas is about celebrating love & family and the birth of Jesus Christ - not spending money. I have viewed this twice more and to be frank no words can describe what I feel a Cop for 30 years I thought I had seen it all. I have come tyo the conclusion Dear God in this modern world how do we permit this. Thanks uploader this needs showing on British National Television.

I know of a local Christian Dr who at his own expence and for no renumeration travels and works in these Countries as a Doctor as well as being a surgeon and General Practitioner in the Uk. I see more clearly now what his wife was telling me only last week. I hope to use some of these images in an upload. We need to do better. Thank you Dr Muir and others like him Amen

It is so sad when watching this video. When you are living a place that you never worried about food, water and place to live, never realize on the other side of the world, there are people who are actually fighting for these basic living needs everyday. TIme is crucial and every second is a matter of live and death! Please help those underprivileged people. They need our help!

Sorry for my poor English I am a volunteer firefighter I have seen much human misery but every time there is a video like this I feel very helpless ... I watch my children and ask Me what world we're leaving?? to much money if you want some when we leave this world leaves us with the love of family and friends ... and all those who left an imprint ... Rico is not he who has money ... is one that has everything you need to live ...
