Believe it or not, its a carpet anemone. The store i go to has very fair prices and i paid 40.00 for it.

@Cnidarious For everyone wondering. I spoke to my dealer and refreshed his memory with a pic and he... like i said.. said it was a TRUE carpet anemone. Not a haddoni or whatever. He did give me a fair discounted price because i always go to him. He actually has another one slighty diff color for 70 right now.

Haha yea once i put the anemone in the tank they Never left the thing. only to feed and they shoot out and come right back quick

Yup its a carpet , there are all diff kinds of anemones.

the clowns are just fighters with eachother ....it's hard to get two to get along..you shouldn't put 2 clowns together unless they were or they're mated they'll kill eachother

Mine are pated pair, bought them like that. clownfish dont fight each other at all. they can change gender to suit the other clownfish too.

can i give a comment. YOu say clownfish do not fight each other. Well they do if not the same speices or some will if not bought young together. There is one kind the P type that wont. Like maroon clowns will kill each other if not bought together as young to sex off.

hey davio615xx: What specific lighting do you use for this anemone? I heard I'll need to change my factory lighting to brighter bulbs. Also, would I need to buy a new lamp with bulbs or could I just use my factory lamp and change the original bulbs out? Thanks

Hey, i have a qestion, if i already have a maroon clownfish in my tank with no mate but i want to put a mated pair in my tank, would they all get along? or would they fight?

if u put another one in there even if the same gender it would change genders and try to reproduce
