  • @officecasinocools The Ocean(;

  • mybad is no e on end of name

  • I picked my death day for Eddie

  • Eddie Cochrane with an e

  • kickass recording!

  • Holy crap! What a great band. I think I saw them on this tour, but they didn't play Eddie Cochrane... my ears rang for 4 days afterwards, but they had a beautifully balanced quadrophonic sound system

  • @skipper8257 Overrated? Page wrote more classic guitar riffs than pretty much anyone besides Keith Richards...

  • @kevinkmny No , you mean plagarised peoples riff's . Google it .

  • @phunkyboy Well, who cares? come on everybody.. :D

  • @tobygbrl :-)

  • SoGooooooooooD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is Eddie Cochran by Led Zeppelin no Bill Haley.

  • was the best version of this song until now! lol

  • they are just having a great time on that stage, envy.

  • love how bonham jumps at 00:40 :)

  • Eddie would have loved this

  • i love this music

  • Homage to Eddie Cochran by "Zep". Who cannot love this!?

  • Don't get me wrong. I love Jimmy's work, and his soloing is exceptionally unsloppy here.

  • Sorry Led Zep Affcionados ......check Steve Marriott's Humble Pie Cover .....10000000 times heavier !!!!!!!!!

  • 0:15 Plant looks adorable haha.

  • punk

  • the greatest band ever. bar none .

  • C'mon Everybody is a original from Eddie cochran not bill haley...

  • It's not originally Bill Haley's tune, it's Eddie Cochran's.

  • Greatest band of all time NO QUESTION

  • Dee Dee Ramone couldn'ta down stroked it betta

  • PUNK....NO?

  • BEST BAND EVER!!!

  • @sebyseby34 ....U hit the nail on the head.....amen

  • LED ZEPPELIN ladies and gentleman!!!

  • The original was by Eddie Cochran, just wanted to say, not dissing great vid!

  • Thank you for posting this, it made my day, I love the original and I love this band

  • Whore that I like this version. I have seen 1000 times it. The Old Rock and roll to the Led Zeppelin style, that is to say the best version. The unique one. That Voice, that power. They were the undisputed kings from 1970 to 1975.

Later it comes another to cover Somothin Else.

Zeppelin it is only listened to him 360p for above but it is not worth.

  • Born at the wrong time wrong place....

  • The clash are a bunch of rip offs stole everything from THE greatest punk band the first punk band the greatest rock'nroll band EVER New York City's RAMONES!!!!!!

  • @jcjramone Also, the ramones werent the first punk band, where the fuck did you get that idea. New york dolls, iggy pop.

  • @PBANDSNOW please the dolls blow, bunch of junkies. and listen to "white Riot" they yell 1234 just like The Ramones. That just shows how much of a dumbass folks like you are. "Oh what about the Dolls what about iggy" The Stoogies are great love'em but that aint punk and niether are the clash. I know it's hard to accept with all that art rock velvet underground shit in your head. so go light some candles Put on that black lipstick and rock out to your Cure cd's.

  • @jcjramone I dont listen to cure. I dont like art rock, i like punk. Do you wanna know why the Ramones never even went gold, because after the first album, everything started to sound the same, you cant sell. And how can you call the clash junkies, Dee Dee Ramone fuckin o’d, and the second a single clash member took heroin, he was fired. The Clash, along with the sex pistols defined punk. Ramones were basic, basic is not enough. You arent a punk fan. Done, u cant argue that, first wave is it.

  • @PBANDSNOW 1st I said the dolls were junkies 2nd you said the clash were blunt and basic hhhmmmmm just like The Ramones mabye? And I guess that the Pistols, whom I love too went gold and have grammys and all that stuff that you hold dear. Oh wait THEY DON'T! Man are u ate up with what Rolling Stone and what all those other mags think. Truly you are a punk you care what other people think and "Prog Rock'. All the marks of a "real" punk. PS did Motorhead ever write a song called clash? RAMONES!

    .

  • @jcjramone Motorhead blows, it would be insulting for them to write a song about them

  • @PBANDSNOW man this is fun! Your like a dog that rolls in it's own shit FUNNY! Motorhead is so loud ain't they boo boo big loud nasty music not the safe blink 182 sound your so used to.Bet those Fall Out Boy cd's are under your pillow. Right next to you mom's prom dress, cause it feel's so good to wear while listening to the Clash. Bet your a shitty guitar player to..your making this to easy.

  • @jcjramone Your arguing with a guy who doesnt care. You hate punk, i dont, end it you fucking retard. The Ramones music is basic, the Clash’s is much more complex, you give the Ramones a bad name, i bet Joey wanted to die because he knew self-righteous, know it all douches like you are fans of his.

  • @PBANDSNOW NEVER!!!! you are my play thing. Even though you put up the white flag I feel it is my duty to make a turd like you sob, witch I am sure you did before I came around. Just shows how classy you are to bring up death Joey had cancer don't joke about that son. We can fuck with each other all you want but don't trivalize cancer. So were was I oh yeah! The Clash is complex? like steely dan or boston? Cause those are punk bands to right? Someday you WIIL thank me for this. Bye for now baby.

  • Please, would someone build a time machine so that I can go back to 1970?

  • sid vicious does it best

  • Comment removed

  • @sexpistol455

no...the sid vicious and the sex pistols were overrated as shit...want a good punk band (see Ramones/The Clash)

  • @deadhardy The Clash greatest punk band ever.

  • @PBANDSNOW Dude.. The clash blow.. they TOTALLY ripped of The Ramones. The Ramones are not only the greatest rock'roll band ever they are with out any question the best punk band ever. THEY INVENTED PUNK!

  • @jcjramone Um “dude” the Ramones first album was important to the punk movement in Britain, but the Clash didnt rip of the Ramones at all. The Clash’s lyrics were political, influencing people. The clash didnt only use downstrokes, the clash werent blunt and basic, the clash changed over time, the ramones were limited to speed, and Johnny Ramones use of the mosrite, which wasnt a great sounding guitar. And besides, they admitted that they just ripped of communication breakdown.

  • @sexpistol455 Agree. He could vomit and sneer better than anyone.

  • @sexpistol455 Sid did it very differently. I mean, he was only a Pistol because Johnny new him, and he looked the part, he wasnt very talented. Robert Plant i a very talented singer, thats the difference your hearing.

  • @PBANDSNOW i know i like zeppelin way better than the pistols but the way sid does it is jusst awesome

  • @sexpistol455 It is really cool

  • @sexpistol455 It doesn't begin to compare musically, but I gotta say, when I see that scene in the "Swindle" movie with Sid on the motorcycle, I always laugh my ass off. And I mean that in good way. Anyway, in my mind, nobody comes close to Zep, but I fucking love the Pistols for the raw attack of Jones and Cook, and the thought and pure commitment that Lydon put into it. By the way, if ya wanna hear some really raw dark slide guitar blues, check "Underground" by Rosetta West on my channel.

  • I think i see jesus there, and if its him, no suprise

  • Mister k8ehOt, I'm afraid I don't agree with you. In the history of (hard) Rock Music no group was more talented as Led Zeppelin, to me they were the Bachs of the seventies. Indeed, they played a lot of covers, but so what? They did it in a stunning and unequalled way...

  • has led zeppelin ever done a song that they didn't rip off of another artist? hm...didn't think so. talentless has-beens.

  • @k8eh0t I'm afraid I don't agree with you. In the history of (hard) Rock Music no group was more talented as Led Zeppelin, to me they were the Bachs of the seventies. Indeed, they played a lot of covers, but so what? They did it in a stunning and unequalled way...

  • @k8eh0t it begs the question : why would someone who feels that way about Led Zeppelin deliberately watch a video that presents their music ? I know why . Because that person wants to leave negative comments in hopes that someone will argue with him . It's an obvious ploy to get attention , even if it's negative attention . As soon as you leave a comment like that on a video , you have revealed yourself as an idiot .

  • genious!

  • MrBoch, are you sure for that original version performer?

  • we don't need to say no more that they are the biggest band ever...the world already knows

  • HOW IS THE NAME OF THIS DVDDDDD

  • C'mon Everybody is not of Bill Haley, is of Eddie Cochran!!!

  • A bit too low even for Plant this is... C'mon Pagey - raise the key. But he manages - as always. Genious.

  • did they know they were listening the fuckin biggest band ever?!!1

  • Almost 41 years ago 1970 already? Not fair we're all too old. Can I go back to 1970? Awwwww....

  • Eh ... Sid's version is a lot better.

  • LED ZEPPELIN was the best band ever assembled.....PERIOD! There will never be another band this good....EVER! The 4 best musicians ever to take the stage- Page, Plant, JP Jones, and Bonham....forever! Imagine if Bonzo was still alive the music we would have....we are all blessed to have had him the time he was here! Their music will still rock 100 yrs from now....

  • @cbthornton6060

Led Zeppelin covering EDIE COCHRAN ! !

With no American blues, country, gospel, zydeco, rockabilly, etc, there would be no British Invasion, NO Zeppelin. . .

  • @BGo93 lucky teacher

  • Page and Bonham are THE SHITT!!!

  • I know Page wrote most of the songs, but I still think Bonzo was the real star of that band, he is just fucking incredible

  • Bonzo is Animal!!

  • man, RIP Eddie Cochran, 50 yrs ago! Zeppelin ruleS!

  • ???

    it isn't correct year

  • Know why they call this band the best band ever? - Couse the fucking are!

  • It was in 1970 correct it ! ;)

  • i know

jimmy didnt have a Les Paul in '68

    just his Telecaster

  • this is 1970 not 68, at royle alberts hall

  • what is percy!? powaznie nie jarze.pozdrawiam.20? bez wzgledu na wiek.extra! pzdr!

  • Plant bardzo szybko zaczał kariere muzyczna - w wieku 16 lat rzucił naukę i przyłączył się do The Band Of Joy. Gral tam troche, potem przewinal sie przez masę zesołów i wyladował w The Hobbstweddle. 1968 poznał Jimiego Page'a i dołączył do niego razem z Bonzem (Perkusista).

:P Jasne ze spiewal w pomniejszych zespolach przed LZ, m. in. rowniez z Alexisem Kornerem. W 66, majac 18 lat to on naprawde dopiero "zaczynal". Pierwsze dema The Band Of Joy sa datowane na rok 1968...moze piaskownica to byla przesada ale na pewno nie mozna powiedziec, ze w 66 Plant mial juz powazna kariere muzyczna.

eh, no prosze wiec tutaj to on nawet ma 22 lata.

  • clip from RA Hall 1970

  • SMOKIN' !~

  • Oh yeah! Led Zeppelin ROCK!!!

  • BEST. BAND. EVER. PERIOD.

  • The most kick ass cover of this song! If anyone is interested (and you should be) check out the original by Eddie Cochran.

  • d espagnols rockeur, ché du prop

  • ROCKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is not 1968. Its royal albert hall 1970 and this is an eddie cochrane song not bill haley.double fail

  • It's obviously not 68' because they are much more the rock posers here than when I saw then in 69' in Chicago. Believe it or, back then, they just basically stood there and played - those were the days.

  • c'mon, you want a bit of showmanship, we don't want our guitar gods stood quiet and dignified as they play, we want them rocking about the stage like they own the place!

  • Am I dreaming or even the pistols covered this?

    Zepp forever

  • what is page doing at the start?

  • bonzo was always like that it was intentional that´s why he is the best fuckin drummer ever!!!

  • ha!!! ;) that's cool! he is great!!

  • the rest of the band cam in late~~~~Bonzo controlled the pace

  • definatly intentional haha did you see him jump in the air lol

  • ha!!! ;) yeah! too cool!!

  • Youmg Robert Plant had no equal

  • correction

    has* ever*

  • Che meraviglia!!! Fantastico, capolavoro.

  • January 9 1970, Royal Albert Hall

  • the actuall concert was 1970

  • 70 not 68

  • The original is of the great Eddie Cochran, not Bill Haley. Peace
