I was expecting a silly troll, but I found a very interesting video... I'm surprised.
I've played the Lost Vikings on my first computer, Diablo was the first game I paid for and Warcraft II right after, Blizzard is still one of my favorite developers, but I have to agree... Starcraft II and Diablo III fulfill my expectations, but the past games did so much more than just that.

I played D1 and D2 so I buy D3 for a lan party like it was for D2. You didn't like the D1-2 graphic, sound, ecc? Don't play and return to play with barbie!

Blizzard is currently ruining the sequel to the best ARPGs ever created. Yes I know you will all buy it. But only the WoWfanboys will be happy. We who played old Diablo will be disapointed. So go check out Path of Exile! The devs on that game have played much Diablo and have taken much inspiration from Diablo 1 and 2. The game is in closed beta right now but if you register you can get a key any moment because they are randomly giving out keys every day.
Ok the only game that looks bad from Blizzard is Panderen. Thats just because it looks horrible. They always patch games and balance their games. They literally took 11 or 12 years to make SC2. That is dedication in a company that I have never seen before. I grew up with SC1 and will admit that I never played diablo but i can tell from my brothers that it is a top notch game. Lastly I am literally counting the days until Heart of the Swarm.
they are a company if they didn't try and make money they wouldn't be making games to appeal to their larger audience and customer base then they wouldn't function or last long as a globally leading company.

I have played the beta for a couple of hours, and I said fuck this game. It is boring. Dull.... and too cartoonish, it literally reminds me of World of Warcraft in so many ways. The design and everything is almost indenticle to WoW. You use to be able to have 9 players in a game in Lord of Destruction, you could hostile everyone and kill them all, now you only have the choice to run around with noobs and clear dungeons while waiting for your queue to pop on the pvp arena...fucking LAME!

The pvp system is fucked, meaning, you can't join a game anymore and hostile everyone in the party and slaughter them all, taking all there gold. NOPE. Oh yeah and did I said? 5 players to the game...THAT IS IT!!!!

he's right in a way, look at the way the diablo 3 auction house is structured, all money you make on it is put into your Battle.net Balance account to spend on blizzard products, unless you want to pay a fee to cash out with paypal, and considering how small 99% of transactions will be on the auction house, you'll be losing all your money to the paypal fee forcing people to just dump their money into the battle.net balance account. Great for business, bad for gaming.
I remember playing diablo 1 as a little kid, maybe 4 or 5 years old, and thinking it was just as fun as what is thought to be the best game of all time- The legend of zelda, ocarina of time. And, guess what- this isn't a blizzard only deal- Anyone who was good now sucks, and they eat money more than those stupid claw machines at the pizza buffet. @cymonsgames ok.. i feel you may have a point but i can't see what you want out of blizzard. The day and era of '32 bit' (advanced version) games is gone and done. You can always go back to playing lost vikings (which i may, i remember it in my childhood and was a epic game) , but blizzard have made in this situation.. diablo 3.. not only fun but also increases on what they set out to do with the previous versions. Broader Lore, etc etc. Yes it is mainly a hack and slash but there is more to it.

For instance, the one thing they did RIGHT with Star Craft 2 was to give players their world editor and look what's come of that. On the other hand with Diablo 3 they've decided to clamp down on mods. Worst choice ever.
But that's just an example and there are many other things they could do.
If you listen to them talking about the way they work, you can tell that they are doing everything they can to make a good game. They may fail, but you can't really say they're not trying really hard. Also, we all know that success is not linear. It may seem like things get worse with each game, but that doesn't mean that a game might come that completely blows you away. Happens with movie sequels aswell. It's just not linear.

Between the wonderful map editor, the innovative ratings system, industry competetive matchmaking, and in my personal oppinion fun and customizable single player experence, i dont see how you could possibly call it bad.

It's difficult to re-invent the wheel and that's exactly what sequels attempt to do. They take a winning formula and try to make it better. I spent more time playing the original Diablo and Starcraft series more so than their respective sequels. They were more than games, but a representation of ideas that the world had not seen until they were released. The only sequel I think was better than the original was Warcraft II because it made real-time strategy fast paced.
I do not see any point you're trying to come across in this video and your additional notes. I guess you'll be saving your money for some other game instead of the newest addition to the Diablo series then. I don't see a problem with what Blizzard is doing.
Warcraft and Starcraft are essentially Warhammer. In fact Orcs vs Humans is based directly on Warhammer. Blizzard makes fun RTS's and WoW was fun for a while. Your arguments are invalid.

That said i just spent all day playing SC2. My point is... life is complicated.
The Auction House will have a flat rate that will be taken away for real money auctions. Whether you sell the item for $1 or $1,000, Blizzard gets the same SMALL cut. The GAMERS are the people making the money and Blizzard is just taking a fraction of the transactions. Diablo 2 was riddled with 3rd party gear / character sites that often scammed. This removes that; I'm happy.
@l31sh0p you do know Blizzard is going to put items in the auction don't you. When asked that question in a FAQ they said they won't do it, but that's an empty promise. Do you really think they won't maximize their profits by exploiting that real money AH? It's not right, it's not ethical, but it's foolish not to do so. I really don't want to believe that, but when you see that a random 1 lvl monk (for example) has put a legendary item in the AH you're really going to believe that?
Lastly, this game has been in the making for 10 years. If ALL they wanted was money, then the game would have been out a long time ago. Blizzard employees are passionate about what they do. They're a group of perfectionist who won't push an unfinished product. I get the sense that they are setting themselves up for another 10-20 year run before Diablo 4. Thats saying if this isn't their final installment. And to be honest, it has that high quality feel, and I haven't even played it YET...

Blizzard is currently ruining the sequel to the best ARPGs ever created. Yes I know you will all buy it. But only the WoWfanboys will be happy. We who played old Diablo will be disapointed. So go check out Path of Exile! The devs on that game have played much Diablo and have taken much inspiration from Diablo 1 and 2. Ok the only game that looks bad from Blizzard is Panderen. Thats just because it looks horrible. They always patch games and balance their games. They literally took 11 or 12 years to make SC2. That is dedication in a company that I have never seen before. I grew up with SC1 and will admit that I never played diablo but i can tell from my brothers that it is a top notch game. Lastly I am literally counting the days until Heart of the Swarm.

I have played the beta for a couple of hours, and I said fuck this game. It is boring. Dull.... and too cartoonish, it literally reminds me of World of Warcraft in so many ways. The design and everything is almost indenticle to WoW. You use to be able to have 9 players in a game in Lord of Destruction, you could hostile everyone and kill them all, now you only have the choice to run around with noobs and clear dungeons while waiting for your queue to pop on the pvp arena...fucking LAME!

he's right in a way, look at the way the diablo 3 auction house is structured, all money you make on it is put into your Battle.net Balance account to spend on blizzard products, unless you want to pay a fee to cash out with paypal, and considering how small 99% of transactions will be on the auction house, you'll be losing all your money to the paypal fee forcing people to just dump their money into the battle.net balance account. Great for business, bad for gaming.

If you listen to them talking about the way they work, you can tell that they are doing everything they can to make a good game. They may fail, but you can't really say they're not trying really hard. Also, we all know that success is not linear. It may seem like things get worse with each game, but that doesn't mean that a game might come that completely blows you away. Happens with movie sequels aswell. It's just not linear.

Between the wonderful map editor, the innovative ratings system, industry competetive matchmaking, and in my personal oppinion fun and customizable single player experence, i dont see how you could possibly call it bad.

I spent more time playing the original Diablo and Starcraft series more so than their respective sequels. They were more than games, but a representation of ideas that the world had not seen until they were released. The only sequel I think was better than the original was Warcraft II because it made real-time strategy fast paced.

I do not see any point you're trying to come across in this video and your additional notes. I guess you'll be saving your money for some other game instead of the newest addition to the Diablo series then. I don't see a problem with what Blizzard is doing.

Warcraft and Starcraft are essentially Warhammer. In fact Orcs vs Humans is based directly on Warhammer. Blizzard makes fun RTS's and WoW was fun for a while. Your arguments are invalid.
Fly on the wall - "Hey warcraft sold pretty well. Lets copy warhammer 40k and make warcraft in space! Tyranids can be called zerg space marines are terrans and eldar can be these protoss guys. BRILLIANT !!!!"
That said i just spent all day playing SC2. My point is... life is complicated.

The Auction House will have a flat rate that will be taken away for real money auctions. Whether you sell the item for $1 or $1,000, Blizzard gets the same SMALL cut. The GAMERS are the people making the money and Blizzard is just taking a fraction of the transactions. Diablo 2 was riddled with 3rd party gear / character sites that often scammed. This removes that; I'm happy.

@l31sh0p you do know Blizzard is going to put items in the auction don't you. When asked that question in a FAQ they said they won't do it, but that's an empty promise. Do you really think they won't maximize their profits by exploiting that real money AH? It's not right, it's not ethical, but it's foolish not to do so. I really don't want to believe that, but when you see that a random 1 lvl monk (for example) has put a legendary item in the AH you're really going to believe that?

Lastly, this game has been in the making for 10 years. If ALL they wanted was money, then the game would have been out a long time ago. Blizzard employees are passionate about what they do. They're a group of perfectionist who won't push an unfinished product. I get the sense that they are setting themselves up for another 10-20 year run before Diablo 4. Thats saying if this isn't their final installment. And to be honest, it has that high quality feel, and I haven't even played it YET...

Blizzard cant function without money... and this dumb ass doesn't realized this. The complexity behind creating a game of this caliber is so high that you can't expect these guys to truly be gamers making games for gamers... they are intellects making games for gamers... You think a person who plays video games for 12 hours a day can acquire the knowledge needed to make a game on this level? No!... they went to school, got advanced degrees, became the best and now work at Blizzard.

This guy is obviously uneducated... he said "Yes these games will be fun experiences..." then 30 seconds later he said "Blizzard doesn't want you to have fun, they just want your money..." Thats paradoxical... Furthermore, Blizzard is a company with hundreds of employees... Why do you think they spent the last 5 years or so sloooowly leaking information about diablo 3...? Its because they know they have a fan base, that's going to visit their websites, over and over, thus generating money!!

think about it pay for a year pass to wow the game is gonna be out in 6 months so your gonna pay 200 bucks to get d3 instantly they are milking wow for all its worth because they no they wil lose profit to d3, so they make people pay 200 bucks for a year of wow like they are gonna get to use it all than they get d3... well your gonna pay for that subscrip and d3 is gonna be out halfway through ur subscription hahaha myaswell walk ur fatass to the store and buy it...

What are you talking about??? this video doesnt make anny sense to me.. You basicly say that blizzards newer games isnt as gamebreaking as the old ones.. Lets take a look on D3. Real money auctionhouse. That is just awesome, people can actually make money while having fun. If this turns out to be a good idea, other companies is going to copy this. Sigh to this guy..
