By the 80's the music industry reined him in with a whole lot of pop. But in the seventies he was playing inventive fusion/jazz/soul/rock/pop. He was at the head of the curve. Record execs are mindless for watering him down.

I also knew Gino was a great recording artist but had not idea this dude was such an awesome performer. His band is absolutely incredible. They really don't make music like this anymore.

I saw this concert in Toronto back in the late 70's in Maple Leaf Gardens. Thousands and thousands of screaming fans!  I was way back and high up. Gino looked like a tiny dot from there! Yet I'll never, ever forget how incredible it sounded! The most amazing concert ever!!! In fact, it changed my life. Gino's music is timeless, lush, sensual, elegant, etc. ad infinitum...

Gino is a master. His music will touch many future lives.
