Of particular concern is the presenter's bare skin, the sloughing of of skin cells doesn't just offend me emotionally, it is a risk to health by its carriage of bacteria. Her guests invariably are fully covered.

He staunchly defends traditional Thai cooking and has run some of the few Thai restaurants in the world to actually be good enough to gain a Michelin star. The Thai government actually paid him to open a restaurant in Bangkok he is that good. (By the way, I am no way involved with the guy) I bought his south east asian salads book 6 years ago and it is inspiring. @solconnection2 You're right Sol. i was in a bad mood when I wrote that and it was a stupid thing to say. I really admire David Thompson and his passion for Thai food. I have his Thai food book and it really is quite worn out now. I have had a catering business here in Mexico city that specializes in south east Asian food. Many of my Thai dishes are based on recipes from D.T's Thai food. But, there are other excellent Thai chefs out there. Seems that the TV people don't care to find them
