And what was the real story behind him going to Chevy power? Just a rumor? Or did he actually do it? If I recall correctly, he had a 604 in the car prior to the 670.

no chevy engine-its a proline custom. chevy/ford/dodge parts will not interchange with his new engine. tim is going to be campaigning a vette soon though-still with a proline custom engine.

This is one of the most impressive drag cars I have ever seen....Does he still run 10.5" tires ?? If so, what really amazes me is that a car with enough power to go this fast can do it on such a small tire !! His terminal speed would be decent for a Pro Mod car !! Absolutely AMAZING !!! It is also fun to watch it carry the front tires who knows how far down the track !! I will be watching for future updates...

Well down here at Speed World in Orlando home of the Street Nationals... Tim lynch just layed down a 6.67 @ 214 right off the trailer. Then followed it with a 6.57 @ 220. I talked to him and he said the car should go LOW 6.40's during saturday qualifying... HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!!! :-)
