actually,the remake is more beautifull than the original,which means that the ds(in term of power)is more efficient than the Nintendo 64 or it's close to the PSone(for exemps resident evil ds)
It stands for Read-Only Memory and is, basically, a memory that cant be changed. CDs, DVDs, and game cards for the DS are examples of ROMs. It can also be used to refer to image dumps of ROMs (i.e. ROMs transfered to computer files).

You do know the N64 is more powerful than the PS1 =) The PS1 had more storage, but less power.
