  • I don't remember belts like that being in style, but who knows. I think the black outfits would have been pretty with a different belt. I always thought Gail sang her harmony parts a little too loud. Her voice is sometimes heard above the melody.

  • I love to have a holly jolly christmas with both Mary Lou & Gail. They're both so hot looking.

  • I know I would have a holly jolly Christmas if i could get those two foxes licking on my candy cane!

  • @howrey82 You are a vile pig.

  • @free2drm treated. *high five*

  • My kids and I are watching the Lawrence Welk Christmas show from 1972 right now! Gotta love PBS!

  • a nice version, but what was with the belted black robes? When did Mary Lou and Gail join with the Jesuits?

  • Something is funny about the date 1967. Neither Gail Farrell nor Mary Lou Metzger was a member of the Welk band at that time and, according to Wkipedia, Gail had not even moved to LA at that time. I would guess this is from around 1973 or 1974.

  • That is very true, this is actually the 1972 Christmas show

  • its not burl ives, but its still a nice version.
