I used to like these books.
Then I read the fourth book and realized that Jacob is a complete creep when he starts to date Bella's freaking baby and had this horrifying epiphany. I realized that these books were pure bullshit. Edward is an abusive boyfriend (e.g. taking Bella's car battery to prevent her from seeing her friend) and Bella is a desperate & boring girl with self-esteem so low she is willing to date someone who wants to KILL HER. Think about it. It's fucked up.
