Thank you for your time in presenting this gentleman, you are kind and yes I am going to get it, I have the little Mustang I and is killer effects, but I will buy the Amplitube 3 , that is the way to go!
I am absolutely convince that Amplitube is th best of both I had Guitar Rig and have many problems at the time of installing it, it was not possible to install it until I could upgrade it, even the manager of guitar center told me the hassle he went him self with Native Instruments, NT ignore me after they fail for second time, I complain in Germany and they were very sorry for the our quality response from the USA headquarters, so this also made the product non wanted by me anymore.
@TheDarkSideOfTheEdo first make sure your computer see's it, u may need to download asio4all, make sure u have asio selected and it will probably show up as usd device
@TheTionce But tech support sucks in the USA man, sometimes the software you buy is few months old before you register guitar rig you must upgrade it, otherwise you are screw and have to deal several times with this idiots from Native Instruments.
@Neltheros Maaaan, I´m sooo tired of this question!! GOOGLE IT! If you have to ask, you couldn´t do anything with the answer. You need a low lateny-, ASIO-driven audio interface providing a Hi-Z-Input; an alternative is the stealth plug by IK. Next you need a DAW if you want to record your play, like Reaper (Which by the way is the coolest DAW I´ve ever seen)
@mrkyt77: I hope you paid that ridiculous price for the non-commercial license meanwhile. Honestly, it´s worth it, isn´t it?
@Neltheros If you have an XBOX 360 pick up Rocksmith. It's basically guitar hero but with a real guitar as the controller, and the guitar > Xbox360 cable that comes with it will function as a USB interface for your guitar right out of the box. That's what I use to record unless I want out-board coloring of my tone before I send to PC in which case I use my Digitech GSP1101. You'll need ASIO4ALL to run your guitar with Amplitube with no latency, that's a free D/L just google.
You might get an even better sound on GR4 if you flip the "HI" switch on, toward the top right. It's supposed to double your sample rate, I always keep it on. That "Bright" switch really makes a difference. I don't have AT, but I like the way it's laid out, a lot more real looking, especially with the mic placement. Pretty cool
I'm not a fan of the orange amps in guitar rig because the presence lacks a great deal in my opinion, even after i turn the presence, treble, and mid up all the way, lower the bass and increase the "lo-cut." I'll usually try to use the dynamic mic over the condenser but presence still will seem to lack. I'd say the orange tone from amplitube 3 is definitely more authentic

in alot of comparison videos, it always seems that guitar rig has a softer tone compared to the others, not necesarily good sometimes but thats what i hear.

Why are you riding all your levels into the red?? Transistor radio sound.

hmm it would be more equal if the amp you load in amplitube would be the AD30, because GR4's orange amp its suposed to be that one not the Rockerverb
mateadam 7 months ago
@mateadam I haven't purchased that amp yet, soon and I'll most likely make a better video
