So what's the speed at 1200 dpi?
Can you change the quality of compression on images? This is really important
to know on books with lots of color images

Do you own this scanner? How good is the quality? I plan to scan a bunch of hardcover comic books but I'd like to have some examples of the quality this scanner produces before purchasing anything.

I've used it for 3 years and scanned probably 25,000 pages and it works great, very fast and clean.
