i played the first two. It gets really repetitive after some time. From the video, 3/4 of the characters shown have the exact same musou mode animation, ending with some big aoe blast. Not a game I would buy.

True ragdoll physics will never be implemented in this because it is technically almost impossible to achieve in such a high amount of people on the battlefield. That would require a very good CPU and a good GPU as well.

If you compare Samurai Warriors and Basara, You'll notice that Basara lacks at puzzles and tricks in the Gameplay (Simply Forward, Slash, Super Move, repeat), and the Female Characters are just not enough (Compared to Samurai Warriors series? Yes).

But Samurai Warriors lacks at Camera Effects, Smooth Animation, and Some Effects like Blurs, etc.

I'm not that impressed with what I'm seeing here. Maybe this was played on easy difficulty but it seemed to be too easy. And while I don't usually care about graphics I am a little concerned that this looks like a Gamecube game instead of a Wii game.

The series may be repetitve, but strictly speaking ALL games are repetitive. There have been no games that can have it's gameplay conventionally changed except Warcraft III.

@madanchi08 Well thats not really something you should focus on, Mostly because it's the WII and didn't come packed with graphical hardware that the Xbox360 & PS3 do. Although I really do like the gameplay the WII gives and this game makes it look promising.

1- im tired of the samurai warriors being always (correction:EVER) the same. they just add a few things and tadaaa: new samurai warriors! MUST BUY!!! like all those dragon ball games and such. Koei is just a money-maker.

2- i prefer sengoku basara's graphical style, which is more imaginative. I also prefer it's "defeat and move" gameplay, like the old school beat 'm ups.

yukimura looks pretty okay, but the new characters look like real people, except kanbei. I think that all the character designs are pretty top-notch, or else they wouldn't look asian. also the story modes look okay, but i hope that when it comes out in america, you can play in japanese but with english subtitles. the american voices are very cheesy and unrealistic.

I actually have the game in Japanese. It really isn't so bad. The new characters fighting style is awesome. Also you can create your own character. It gives you specifics on what you are doing. As for the gameplay, there are many new features, for example you can man a cannon and blow stuff up. The story modes got really specific and much more detailed than any koei warriors game ever played in my opinion. So i think that you seriously underrate this game to much.
