    Greetings from Canada!

  • Thank you for spreading the knowledge about the world famous artist Louise Bourgeois.

  • messing with the past is like playing with the dead-alan watts..this lady is amazing!but i wouldn't have focused so much on the negative memories.. she sounds overly emotional and irrationally /serious like me.. lol.. emo people need to keep it sunny/ tricks my bad moods..turn bad into good.. it looks like badd into a phsycial display of the bad.. ba

  • great

  • Her work will live on forever! RIP to a wonderful artist, and a wonderful woman.

    Rest now.

Your emotions will live forever in your art.

  • RIP Louise

  • put them mofo's in the guggenheim!

  • Or the bronze work showing a tortured male suspended from the ceiling by a chain attached to his private parts?

  • how come they didn't show the stuffed burlap statue work showing a guy gleefully having anal sex with a woman?

  • RIP dear Bourgeois...

  • RIP

  • R.I.P.

    1911-2010

  • J'amour Vous madam Louise.....

  • A transformative film. Sensitive inspiring..total altruism.

Does anyone know the soundtrack music/composer?

  • i love her so much! so inspiring.

  • i hope i get to see this exhibition before i Die :)

  • i love "maman"

we had the plesure to have one of them in a art garden not to far from where i live. i studyd art and we had to do some kind of interaction whit the art in that park, my group worked with maman and i got really attached to it, it just lookt so amazing standing there at the edge of the forest on a hill looking out over the lake.. it feelt like it belongd there......

  • i just saw the hirshorn exhibit of her pieces, and have been completely taken by these emotions she communicates. her body of work may be a new favorite of mine, but i'm sure it's one that will last the ages.

  • I was there yesterday! Incredible! And the video with her speaking was so surprising. I can only hope that I will be as sober and virile when I am her age, let alone as productive!

  • what a fascinating artist!

  • I'd never heard of her until I went to the Guggenheim the other day, and then just happened to walk past Lafayette Square in New Orleans and see that she created the large eye sculptures there.

  • The song is Laurie Anderson's "O Superman."

  • why not allowing embedding?

  • the first time i saw her work i went like: damn! this is what i was looking for!

  • So very few comments here on youtube. Bit surprising (as for me) - I'm totally taken by Louise either. Absolutely wonderfull art.

    Isn't she the best?

  • This is hysterical. You must have no idea what sarcasm is supposed to sound like or you have no idea what this woman or her art are about.

  • Well, stay asleep. What's happening in London while you putter over some old broad's expression of a black and destructive idea of ART. Her's is an expression of the Eastern Star Masonic Lodge of which she's a major player. You have no idea of how this world is run and never will. Go back to sleep, you're stumbling around in the light of day will only get yourself and others upset for disturbing their naps.

  • you;re an idiot.

  • you're terrified of her art because you don't understand it, so I suppose I should forgive you for your ignorance, but it's very hard for me because you are insulting something that many people truly find beauty in, myself included. don't insult what you don't understand.

  • @anglomofo

just because someone is terrified of artwork doesn't mean they are incapable of appreciating it. i don't know exactly who you were addressing with your comment. i think louise would disagree with your reception of her work as "beautiful". that seems to be a word that is thrown around too much, and understood too little. she said it best herself "I didn't promise you a rose garden". the emotions that her sculpture radiates is one of dread and awe, not beauty.

  • thats hilarious

  • It won't be when a Jack Boot kicks your door in.

  • like the music in this. her work is amazing

  • I really need to know that electronic song near the end of this. It was really good, and I can't find it anywhere...

  • she's amazing. i saw her show @ the guggenheim last month and it blew me away. formidable !

  • I would like to know the name of the song that goes in the film when she speaks about the spider. anybody knows??

Alguien sabe el nombre de la cancion que hay en la pelicula quando ella habla de las aranas.

  • you now the name of song???

  • wats name of song ''mama take me in your electric hand''please???

  • i don't know the name!!! i would like to know!!! but what is this song you talk about?? i don't find it!

  • "O Superman" de Laurie Anderson ^^

  • The gorilla mask ladies. That's what feminism does to you.

  • wow...

  • Amo la vida y obra de Louise Bourgeois.

Su trabajo me ha inspirado para realizar la investigación de mi tesis doctoral.

    Thanxs for posting this!

    Greetings from Mexico.
