  • But then Victor Meldrew does have an intense preoccupation with himself.

He is motivated to consider Margaret when she finally loses patience with him. Could be a five year old boy . . . which leaves her little choice but to be his mother at times.

This wonderfully funny series is written by a man, David Renwick. It is all about us humans, who typically do not appreciate what we have until it is too late. The human condition, male or female or between or beyond.

    We are funny, eh?

  • Margaret was always far nastier to Victor than he deserved.

  • I just wanna know what she was going to say in the end before being interrupted...

  • @GJNCA It's always too late. Women never appreciate what they have until it's too late. And yes, I do mean that.

  • That would be simply the best thing ever if victor was here for ever and ever!!

  • "you had your hand in my blouse for half an hour twiddling a dead wasp." :)

  • its hilarious when victor is in the toilet and their all trying to disguise it by coughing lmao

  • @GJNCA I think by the last episode Margaret had already realised how important Victor was to her. You need only look at the very end of "The Wisdom of the Witch" to see that.

  • It is sweet when he tells her that she was always his first choice.
