  • Nice!

  • Too tall tank.

  • lol ppl just like to complain

  • doesnt look like enough space for those fish

  • Comment removed

  • i use to go there, there closed now though....

  • The tank is 8x4x4, which according to the formula puts it at 960g. Now some of you keyboard warriors will say it doesn't hold 960g of water because of material thickness, etc etc etc. Please STFU and go play on the freeway.

  • orange fish at down is a lion head why they have a goldfish with agrresive fishes it is not fair they will kill it

  • my pet store uncle bills in indy has a tank that big

  • or a arowana in a 200gal tank then compare to this vid.

  • @OzzyDaOscar I agree, i have a fish tank which is 2metres long which i think is about 6.6Ft long 18inches wide and im not sure the height but it is quite a high tank and that is only 650 litres and a 1000g is a little over 4000litres so a 1000gallon tank would have to be about 7times bigger than my tank which would me that that arowana would be over 5foot which is fuckin impossible so if any of you dumb asses think this is 1000gallon i suggest you go look up a 1000g tank or a arowana

  • @OzzyDaOscar

Arowana is only 1ft long? 40ft long? God you are stupid. Capitol Aquarium. 1920 29th Street, Sacramento, California. Bring your tape measure, because we've seen just how "good" you are at estimating sizes.

  • @OzzyDaOscar Dude, I know this is not my argument but offending someone and then blocking them

Is just what a pussy would do. Good day.

  • @toxicbiscuitj28 not realy cuz its the internet mate

  • Comment removed

  • @OzzyDaOscar I see, Sorry for the mistake.

  • @OzzyDaOscar

Forget the size of the fish for a second. The tank is 8x4x4. Can you comprehend that? Only an idiot would think a tank had to be 40ft long to be 1000 gallons. A little common sense goes a long way.

  • @jcardona1 you really think that tank is 4foot wide and 4foot high? the arowana can only just about turn around and there is no way that arowana is full grown if you compare the head to the rest of its body, and if you say its 4foot high you are just plain moronic and i said 40ft long but i also said excluding the height, of course a tank isn't going to be 40foot wide for 1000gal, but if it had less than a centimetre height it would be. now fuck off no1 gives a shit its just a fish. get over it

  • @OzzyDaOscar

I don't think it's 4ft tall and 4ft wide, I KNOW. Try to use your brain before your run your mouth for a second you stupid troll. I've stood in front of this tank. I know it's exact dimensions. Why do you think I'd waste so much time responding to comments on here? Because I have a vested interest in providing false information to all of Youtube? No. It's because I can't stand idiot trolls that think they know everything when they haven't even seen the fucking tank in person.

  • @OzzyDaOscar

And like I said earlier, my old tank was 6x3x3, 400 gallons. This tank is waaaaaaaay bigger than my tank. Length, width, and height. What are you going to tell me next, that my tank really isn't 6x3x3? Check out my videos, watch it for yourself.

  • clown loaches in there?

  • @tosenprashan I wish you could see this tank in person, and I wish I could be there to see the stupid look on your face when you realize how big of an idiot you are when you say it's 200g

  • flag for spam>misleading text

  • 1000 gl or not that tank sucks

  • That is definatly 1000 gallons. After this I feel a minimum tank size for arowanas is 5,000 gallons 0.0 Of course that's the tank size, the fish are just huge.

  • doesn't look 1000 gal but easiest way is to plug dimensions in a conversion calculator.

  • lol that at capitol aquarium in sac downtown..

  • Do you actually realise how big 100,000 gallons is nobody has that kind of space and that enough for more fish than one arowana

  • I hope you're planning on getting a bigger tank soon. That arowana alone needs at least 100,000 gallons.

  • @TheUncleBastard 100,000 gallons is pretty much a water tower

What kind of fish needs that? I'm going to assume you meant arapaima which only needs around 2,000 gallons

If you meant arowana: the biggest one seen to date is only around 40 inches.

  • @TheUncleBastard besides my weener nothing needs a tank that big

  • @TheUncleBastard ooo man that made me laugh hahaha

  • Nice to see the morons still commenting. Again, if you have NOT seen this tank in person, you just just sound like an ass. I've seen this tank, it's in a local fish store. It dwarfs my 400 6x3x3. When I posted my 400g, people said it didn't look 400g. Moral of the story, don't talk crap if you haven't stood in front of this tank.

  • i doubt its 1000 gallons...maybe closer to 1000 litres

  • I'm saying it's 1000...look at the size of the fish! It's also shown at a funny angle

  • im saying it is like 350 gallons. but thats still a big ass tank. but there is no way in hell that that is 1000 gallons

  • apparently my bathtub is 1000 gallons...

  • dis is a big fucking tank. lots of big fish with alot of room, nice tank

  • why don't they kill each other??

  • You got robbed dude, the store lied to you, learn how to calculate the volume of a tank using the measurements, its ok this happens to a lot of noobies but you gotta be more careful next time you buy a tank, you gotta find out yourself how much it holds and not just trust the store because they will do anything to make a quick buck.

  • no way this is 1000 the store lied to you

  • that is not 1,000 gallons.

  • maybe thats what they want you to believe

  • man taht is not a 1000g tank...check my video of my fish tank is a 180g..and is 6ft lond 2feet wide and 2ft high...that one look more wider and tall but mine, for me is longer.

  • it cant be 1000 G cuz a 500 G is 10 feet long , so this is only 7 ... yea looks like 400? maybe?

  • Must add thought it is a really nice tank.

  • Not even close to a 1000 gallon! I have a 600 gallon and its 8x3x3. Much larger then this tank.

  • Definitely not 1000 gl tank. Check out my tank in my video 200 gallon 6ft long.

  • WTF how are those clown loaches alive? roflmao

  • @V3nomStrength bc they keep the arowanna fed

  • @Redman8102 Yeah, they must not feed the fish feeders if the aro doesnt see the loaches as food

  • put some salt in it ....nice tank though just not a freshwater fan

  • My 350 gallon is 8ft long 2ft wide and 3ft tall.....so i really doubt that it's 7x3x3

  • that doesnt look like a 1000 gallon more like a 400-500

  • 350 gallon tank you fool

  • that's not 1k gallons, more like 400-500 tops.

  • Maybe 1000L?

  • 200 gal

  • not 1000 gal

  • sadly that arowana died a couple months back :(

  • Is this capital aquarium in Sacramento?? Its gotta be!!

  • 1000 gallons my ass

  • nice

  • arowannas are so beautiful

  • Wheres the best places to go in the UK for large acrylic tanks?

  • dam as big as that tank is that is still kinda small for those fish in there holy cow

  • I have a 20 gallon tank with 2 honey gouramis 4 ghost shirmp and 3 albino corys can I have more fish how many more and what kind of fish?

  • i wouldn't have all of those big fish. i would have about 100 little fish and a million snails!!

  • does anybody know what kind of fish that is that swims into the frame at about 0:03 til about 0:07? the decently sized gray one?

  • yellow fin tinfoil barb

  • i would say tinfoil barb

  • At 0:08 to 0:09 if you pause it at the right time you can see people there. Compare them to the tank... the Tank is not 300 gallon tank it is 1000gallon.

  • Those that have not seen this tank in person would not know that it is a 1000 gallon fish tank, and they make themselves look like a fool for commenting something they don't know. Shows how much idiots exist in this world. I'd be rich if I'd bet all those idiots that this tank is more than 600 gallon.

  • jcardona1 is right this tank is massive in person. the fish blow my mind in that thing. i bought my black ghost knife there for cheap

  • Think of a 44 gallon drum ok. There pretty big. You think you could tip 22.7 of them in that tank ?? Must be a very big tank.

  • DAMN 1,000x10 pounds= 10,000 pounds! i hope thats not in your house

  • look to the right, dude

  • Its in his mobile home

  • wow thats cool were you get it?

  • I have one of those oragne and black ones it was given to me what is it???!!??!

  • clown loach ?

  • Looks like 300 gallons. That tank is not much bigger than my friends. Nice Arowana, btw.

  • god you people are idiots. that arowana is well over 3ft, the largest ive seen. if you havent seen this tank in person, dont comment. even that yellowfin or tinfoil barb is 16"+

  • haha, even the gourami is massive

  • @jcardona1

so are your tigers bigger than 1 feet too? :D you have to be better liar. Tank is less than 200 g.

  • @jcardona1

dont bother anout ozzydaoscar cause he only knows how to play COD4 and i guess he aint own a tank before.

  • that tank is no where near 1000g

  • My fish tank is bigger (:

  • wow 100.00 gallon nice tank

  • this is not 1000 thi sis like 500

  • my 50 gallon looks bigger than i bet it is a 150 or 200 gallon

  • if you knew how big thoes fish where you would not say that

  • you are a lying thats not a 1000 gallon my 650 tank is much bigger than tht

  • Well, I've seen a 1,100 gallon tank...Its just a bit bigger then that (sarcasm). You could walk in the middle of it with some misc. sealife around you. It was interesting.

  • id say 500gal max

  • that is not a 1,000 gallon tank! that looks more like a 100 to 200 gallon tank maybe 250 gallons at the most but now a 1,000 gallon tank. and trust me i know becucse i have a 500 gallon tank and its bigger than that.

  • I'm sure you don't have a 3 feet Arowana in your tank toofastdan.

  • this is NOT a 1,000 gallon tank! it is more than 200 but it is DEF. NOT 1,000.

  • OK, if you're not familiar with what happens when you film a large aquarium, then I will explain. 1: If you do not see an object or person in the video for a point of reference don't assume it has to be small. 2: Do not assume the fish in the tank are juveniles (all those fish get really big) 3: Do not assume every tank is 2 feet high (especially the 1000 g and bigger ones). 4: Read all the comments first. There may be others who have seen the same tank in person and can confirm.

  • The point of refrence is the fish is half the length of the tank.

  • The fish can't be a point of reference because you do not know how long the Aro is. If you pause at 0:21 the Aro is more like max 1/3 the length of the tank. You just have to believe the people who has seen the tank.

  • Search CAPITAL AQUARIUM VIRTUAL TOUR. You will see just how big the Arowana is. There are so many different videos from different people of this tank all saying it's 1000g. Let's use some common sense guys.

  • Yeah your right, some of those fish I know are in the 12-16 inch realm and they dont even measure half of the tanks width. i just quickly glances at the video first time.

  • agreed, i wish that people would just stick their hand out so we can get the general idea

and lol, i was thinking of this exact same thing when i was watching the vid

    smart ppl think alike! :)

  • its a 250 to be exact

  • maybe like 5 of those would be 1,000 gallons

  • that could be a 100g i have a 155g

  • that arowana is beautiful

  • thas not a 1,000 gallon tank!!

  • its too small to be 1,000gal

  • When I looked into it again today... I feel it is not a 1000gallon tank.

  • @bz476 i think its 500 max ,.. its probably 2 meters long 1 meter wide and high

  • @bz476 It is a 1000 gallon tank. I was wrong before.

  • still looks a little small.

  • I would guess this is maybe 1000 litres, not gallons

  • This is a 1000 gallon tank.

    app 13 X 75 gallon. 1000l will be too small.. just 3 times of a 73 gallon...

Can't you see the depth of the tank??

  • this is too small for to be a thousand gallon

  • looks rather small for some of those fishes :(

  • It is a 1,000 gallon tank. if the loaches are 6-7 inches think about how big the other fish are. if someone put their hand to the tank in this video, you'd see how massive the fish tank really was.

  • one little crack and haha flood.

  • I want a silver arowana! Looks a little big though. :(

  • obviously everyone failed math, because you'd be surprised how much water a tank can hold. its all about volume

  • Never mind like 4 foot tall. It use to be like 1 foot taller though am I right. I swear it was.

  • It is 1000 gallons I live in Sac I been there it's on R Street next to the freeway if I remember (correct me if i'm wrong). You can trade fish for store credit there too. When you 1st go in there is koi right by the door. My kids like Moby Dick the old fish they have there. I thing Sherbert is cool ( a big Red Devil.) The tank looks like 5 foot high mabey 4 1/2 foot 3 feet wide and like 7 foot long.

  • that aint a mother fuckin 1000 gallon fish tank

  • god stupid it in a fish store its near my house btw its 1000 gallons it just looks small

  • sweet fish tank mine is only 10 gl's

  • ya right 1000 gal mine is like 150 and its bigger then that

  • Read the description-

This video was shot at Capitol Aquarium in Sacramento, CA. This is a 1,000 tank where they keep a variety of fresh water fish. The Silver Arowana is by far the largest in the tank, but even the Clown Loaches are 6-7 inches.

  • its probably a 100 or 120 max.

  • no way is that 1000 gallons, honestly looks more like maybe a 120 gallon to me. The fish seem happy though...have you had any losses?

  • lovely tank is there a giant gourami in ur tank n how big ur arowana?

  • i wud say its about 500gallons but i wont believe its a 1000g....no way

  • How many uk litres in a 12'3'3' tank and 6'2'2?

  • alot of water there...

  • I think it's about 7 feet long by 3 feet wide and 3 feet tall?

  • Pretty nice, I'm planning on making a tank thats about 6'6 to 7'5long, 3' tall, and around 3' feet wide.

  • see....i'm planing to make a 10f long, 5f wide, 4f tall tank and its about 1080gallons....i dont think this one is a 1000g tank

  • actually its abt 1400gallons :P

  • Oh btw if it was 7 feet long 3 feet wide and 3 feet tall it wouldn't be 1000 gallons it would be 471 gallons.

  • Oh...well then my measurements are off, because when I called the Aquarium store and asked them how many gallons it was, they told me 1,000.

  • actually....i dont think its a 100g either becasue i saw a vid on a 500g tank and tht tank looks a lot bigger and got bigger fishes. a 100g tank wud atleast be 10f long 4f high and 3 wide

  • 10x,4y,3z would be alot more than 100 gallons. Maybe 1000 Gallons.

  • actually yea....i jus missed a 0 :P

  • Nice!what are the dimensions???
