I have Leopard and did all the steps and it said the same thing, processor was too old.

just followed all the directions....intalled package with Pacifist......PowerBook G4 1.67........iMovie Installs but then when i open it it says "iMovie requires a computer with an Intel or G5 Processor".....did I miss something?

Yes it was done on leopard.I guess for iLife 09 you must have Leopard.

3:After you download the program
in Pasifist program Click on open package
Find the file which is on the desktop its called iMovie.pkg
and follow the steps it should run

2:Drag AppleintermediateCodec.pkg into desktop
Also drag iMovie.pkg into desktop
Eject your iLife 09 from DVD so that you don't make any changes in to original DVD
Now you have to Download a program called (PACIFIST) its free!!!

Show Package Contents
Open Contents
Click on installers
