  • @mjohns375 aha...... very epic.....

  • amazing! this is so powerful! I love it! :)

  • sounds like eve

  • isn't it a soundtrack from prince of persia ?

  • This music doesnt have anything to do with Modern Warfare 2 because this is to epic for any game!

  • @bspfan123 HECK YA!

  • @bspfan123

Oh c'mon. This would compliment any video game's action sequences. Imo, the games have lost their touch in the cool inspiring music the more they try to copy the movies. In the old days it was "balls to the wall" -music what made your blood pump while you attempted some difficult part in the game. It helped you to focus.

Nowdays it's just some ambient crap that doesn't have any emotion playing over action scenes. Sucks.

  • @Arppis

    Disagree, completely.

Get your atari out of your ass, and go play Mass Effect, Metro 2033, or Halo.

  • @Crusina

I never had Atari. But you get your head out of your arse first. Mass Effect had some really insipring tunes, but it didn't really use them in combat. Combat music was mostly dull "futuristic" beats. It's a great game, no doubt, my favourite from last year. But as I said, when it comes to combat music, it lacks. Metro I have never played. Halo?... Well you are right about Halo, it does have nice inspiring and epic tunes on the background.

No need to be so butthurt and rude, man.

  • @Arppis

    You're right, I shouldn't have cussed.

None the less, your statement was both insulting to the works of many people, in many games. It was generalized, and in all honesty made you sound like some "back in the old dayz we are be better" nostalgic whiner.

I apologize for attacking you, but my point still stands.

  • @Crusina

I am sorry too for harsh words. :)

And yes, some of the newer games do have amazing soundtracks that get my blood pumping, like Devil May Cry series had it great for the combat bits. It's true that I find some of the 16-bit era music to be more memmorable and inspiring than game music these days. They try too much to sound like a movie, making the music maybe bit less epic than it could be. Again, this is just peference thing. :)

    We agree to dissagree, no?

  • @Arppis

No disagreement needed at all. I fully understand you liking past better, as long as you are respectful of other people's works or likes.

Terra's theme for example, is my favorite song ever. No orchestra, band, whatever will ever replace those beeps, whistles, and that simple electronic beat that song has.

  • @Crusina

    :)

Yeah. What I really would want is those melodic tunes to make a comback to video games. They were something that played in my head (and still do) when I was playing those 16-bit consoles. I am all for movie-like musics, but I'd still like to hear some catchy epic tunes in video games. Ambient just doesn't do it for me. :)

  • @Arppis

Mhmm, I'm assuing you've heard music from ODST?

    What about Metroid Prime?

If you haven't, I'd love to send you a few links, specially from prime since I think...you'd really indentify with the music.

  • @Crusina

Yeah, actualy got ODST (great soundtrack, I think it's better than Halo Reach, I like the athmosphere it has) and I love Metroid Prime's theme. Especialy Corruption's. :)

  • @Arppis

I've never been able to get Tallon Overworld Depths out of my head...that whistling part is catchy XD

  • @Crusina

Gonna listen to that now, thanks. :)

  • @Crusina

Metroid Prime's music is example of those quiet tunes I don't usualy like in video games. Buuuuuut, for Metroid series, this fits. Because Samus is alone and exploring the world, instead of going from fight to the fight. In game like this it really compliments the whole feel of the game. And I love those "whistling" parts too in the Prime soundtrack! :D

  • @Arppis

I once went outside by myself. It was freezing cold, and snow had covered everything. Listening to Phendrena Drifts while walking through that was something in itself.

  • @bspfan123 Except maybe Assassin's Creed

  • @bspfan123 but you must remember the soundtrack of the game not the game itself because modernwarfare sucks.

  • @bspfan123

Wrong. And MW2 had very epic music.

  • @bspfan123 idk theirs 1 or 2 games that might be to epic for this.. but yeah cod sucks sense 4 and up. and halo sucked after 1. main stream games kinda blow.

  • @bspfan123 - I disagree...I think that the creators of MW2 could come up with an epic scene just for this :P

  • @Redemptor777 they COULD but not on their own....they would say "men we finally made it" they'd listen to the music again and in their minds whistle and say "such a far way to go"

  • @sixsixalex1 - You underestimate the artistic creativity these people have.

  • @Redemptor777 lol.....well...i still prefer tsfh and fav :D

  • @sixsixalex1 - They are indeed one of my favorites! :D

  • @Redemptor777 i disagree with your disagreeing.

  • @178thbattlegroup - well, that's your prerogative. But TBH, I've been listening to music like this for a long time, and the fact that this one could still be used in an action sequence such as in Modern Warfare or something means it really stands out. If you think using it in a video game is degrading, then.....I'm not sure you really appreciate the artistic side of the things.

  • @Redemptor777 you could probably use this in a game, sure. but if it was put in that shit call of duty game it would explode. dont get me wrong i love cod 2 big red one and cod 3. but the rest suck balls. i dont know i guess i just like quality.

  • @178thbattlegroup - Well, I can't understand why you feel that way...but everyone has their preferences. I for one prefer modernistic/present day war games over many retro/WWII games, quite simply because there are FAR too many of the latter...and far too few good ones. I DO like WWII games, but not if they're poorly done. Having seen all of the CoD games, I'm still more impressed by less of the earlier ones than I am of the later ones.

    But again, preferences.

  • @bspfan123 Not for Assassins Creed ;D

  • This sounds very similar to assassin's creed 2' - florence escape

  • they should have used this in black hawk down's soudntrack along with Hans Zimmers great pieces.

  • @kumagamesclan over rated, overused, over shitty

  • @Jerppa95 Retard.

  • DUN DUN DUN!!!!! YEAH!!! I LIKE WATERMELON TOOO!!! CHOCOLATE RASBERRYS!!!!! OLIOLIOLIOLIOLLOOOOOOOOOO

On a less random note, these guys are awwwwweeeeeeesssssoooooommmmmeeeeee.

  • @cromwell300 wow u attention seeking whore give it up

  • @Noobless1000 wow you jackass piss off

  • It's like Modern Warfare 2 music....

  • @wilk221 Uhhh.....no it's not

  • @thebadguy2k6 trust me, it is.

  • @wilk221 No.....it really isn't

  • @thebadguy2k6 You've played it?

  • @wilk221 several times......if you think I'm wrong.....name the mission and I'll triple check it and get back to you.

  • @thebadguy2k6 You're pretty arrogant aren't you? The favela chase scene of the Hornets Nest mission. The part where you're running with no weapon while being shot at by numerous militia men. The music is very similar.

  • @MiddleFingerSaysHi Uhhhh....No! Please try again.

  • @thebadguy2k6 Uhhhh.....Yes! I never said it was exactly the same. I said it was similar. Not very observant or literate are you?

  • @MiddleFingerSaysHi I know what you said.....and you are dead wrong. The music isn't even similar unless you compare it Brittney Speares or the like. Not even close! I know son, it sucks getting smacked down on youtube....but hey, look on the bright side....your not the first or the last. : ) Please try again.

  • Listening to this while playing MW2 online has increased my combat effectiveness at least 1000%.

    Would recommend to anyone. :D

  • @Cocytus127

There is no combat effectiveness in mw2, but yeah this is a nice song

  • Totally reminds me of Prince of Persia! =D

  • I feel like sneaking around a terrorist base at night with a silenced gun....

  • This song fits perfectly iraq military operration movie.

  • reminds me of prince of persia

  • sounds like prince of persia

  • it sounds little like from 300, but connection with Modern Warfare or new Medal of Honor is better...

  • Uh... Wasn't this in Modern Warfare 2? It sounds like or it was, or it REALLY should have been!!

  • @TheMoronLabs15 lol It does sound like that, but no. I think you're more so refering to the original MW - which was composed by Harry Gregson-Williams and his protoge/assistant/co-scorer Stephen Barton. :)

MW2 features Hans Zimmer, but I think mostly his "co-scorer"; who I think wasn't Stephen Barton but someone else.

  • Only three words come to mind:

    Bring.

    It.

    On.

  • @lippmannk1 (Three More Words.)

    Just...
