At this timeline, Madara would not have been such a small framed skinny guy and at his point of time madara would already have been old, because he was defeated by the first hokage who was tsunades grandfather. when naruto was born tsunade could have been 35, so Madara could habe been around 75 / 80 at this point. That is ONE of the reasons why Madara could not have been Tobi.

As you can see gedo mazo is blinded so just one big loudly fart from the fat guy and gedo mazo will lose the ability to hear and to smell. And then Kakashi obviously is protected from the smell with his mask will attack and take down the helpless gedo mazo. @jin54363 No he called him Mizukage because Tobi was mind controlling the current Mizukage at the time (Yagura) but I doubt hes from the mist, most definetely hes a Uchiha, Senju or Uzumaki
even though madara was revived, i believe tobi mentioned about 'weak part' of himself being left. minato also mentioned about tobi controlling the nine tails, and the nine tails said only madara was able to do it. in other words, tobi is probably a fraction of madara. just my opinion. cheers!

Izuna is still a valid candidate, more so than Kagami or Setsuna, both who have never been mentioned for more than 1 chapter.

As you can see gedo mazo is blinded so just one big loudly fart from the fat guy and gedo mazo will lose the ability to hear and to smell. And then Kakashi obviously is protected from the smell with his mask will attack and take down the helpless gedo mazo. Dont underestimate the leaf shinobies, they didnt put the fat guy over there for no reason, and everyone with simple sense of strategy could defeat gedo mazo haha XD

even though madara was revived, i believe tobi mentioned about 'weak part' of himself being left. minato also mentioned about tobi controlling the nine tails, and the nine tails said only madara was able to do it. in other words, tobi is probably a fraction of madara. just my opinion. cheers!

1- Edo Tensei's #1 rule : The person you want to summon must be dead.
2- Well, we didn't see much about Obito's death. He could survive and for some reason, he could do that. 1 of his sharingans are taken by Kakashi. And we didn't see the other one.
And Kakashi's mangekyou does dimensional works.Which is basically what Tobi does to travel or fade away. Since Kakashi's sharingan is Obitos, that makes sense.
Kisame said "oh Mizukage" to Tobi. Which he means 4th mizukage.

Highest posibility is Obito I think. But to think he can be that powerful, that doesn't make sense.

You see in the manga that the guy called "Mü" used a Split technic to split itself in 2different beings which can live without the other but just with "half the power of the original being",so Mü already lifed in the time of edo-tensei madara wich maby fight mü and take his Split ability from him with sharingan,and because Madara even had the Rinngan wich make it possible to use every element and technic he maby broke thought that the limit of sharingan

Evidence for my theorie is:
1.Tobi say he got the Rinngan first and give it to Nagato(edo-Madara shows he had rinngan so this is true).
2.Edo-Madara also say that litte nagato got finaly grown up so this indeed means he knows Nagato(like tobi

3.Tobi and Madara wantet both the same.
4.Both have rinnegan and sharingan.

1.electrician.
2.doctor.
3.Judge.
4.Teacher.
5.hairdresser
and the list go on(oh and Judge is some of the jobs that earn the most Money in Germany) so still english is somthing that is not IMPORTANT for german people to work.
oh and just you know: i maby write english not correct but i do understand it so i can speake it so do have a good english skill so just like i say: i can just laugh about you^^.

1.shisui got killed by itachi.
2.Kagami got even killed by itachi.
3.Izuna got killed by Madara because he takes his eyes.
4.Obito is dead.
5.Even Itachi say Madara is still alive and immortal.

also all what Tobi say was proofed as true think of it:
1.tobi say he had rinnegan and give it to nagato.

@EXTRIMAKER Another hypothesis i had was tobi could actually be the body of the sage himself,When the sage died he extracted the ten tails from himself and split into nine beast then supposedly sealed the body in the moon.What if a portion of chakra remained in the sages body after he died and the ten tails lived on in his body.
