This is almost as bad as how I was treated by aamco today. They never showed me parts wuldnt show a detail report keep contradictin me and even tried to make me say that the reason there's a problem is cuz I'm weary of my car. Based on me experience over the last 2 months w aamco (I only had my car for 2 weeks in this time) I am ready to pull a camera out as well for proof of all the lies and harsh treatment
The constant f bombs and name calling on behalf of the staff is unacceptable. If I swore at a customer, I would get fired. As for the situation with the customer, why not just let him take the pictures and be done? Seems to me that the truth is somewhere in the middle.

That pretty much rules out the shop ripping this guy off. Based on the discount given, they were doing him a favor. The real question is what we don't see on this video post. Why did the customer come in with a camera?
Your average customer does not come into a shop with a camera. Let's be real, the second someone does that, it makes the situation tense and awkward. The real question is, what led to this incident? Yeah, from someone who works at a tranny shop, the way you were treated was dispicable. Good job catching this, because frankly if I treated a customer the same way I would be fired. Try taking this to the Aamco national chain, your local news station, and the BBB. BTW Aamco aims to get a minimum of 3000 dollars from a job and also try not to give you a full price for a job from the getgo. They have the benefit of national advertising so they can shit on their customers but keep getting more.
You know i went to Maaco a sister company of Aamco and had seen the bad reviews but i felt the bad reviews were people were expecting too much etc from a 250 paint job. So i went to Maaco and had a good experience theyy were honest about how long the job would last and it wasnt going to be perfect and i was fine with it but i havent found ONE positive review for Aamco online and this vid seals it for me. I AM NOT going to aamco this is outragious. I didnt want to go to another shop because.....
it looks like a dump on the outside but honestly its probably a good place because its a locally owned establshment and not a chain. aamco is awful they need to overhaul the coustomer service dept. cause this is terrible and ive never stepped foot in there and never will.
this is what happens when you deal with aamco any shop that is honest offer 3 year warranty as a standard not for an extra $600.00 and this video is the aamco standard and ther warranty is void if you dont owe them money
Amaco in hotsprings Arkansas will fix your main problem but will break something else so you come in again. I know this because my father worked there and saw them break stuff and he did not want any part of it. It is mandatory to itemize problems before fixing them. The video shooter was in the legal right.
There's a transmission shop only a mile away from my house... And it isn't aamco. I'll take my car there if I ever have a problem

Taking your car to Aamco is the worst place you could take it. You will be ripped off.
Aamco means.....ALL AUTOMATICS MUST COME OUT.
Once they get your transmission out they will tell you that it needs rebuilding, your bill will be huge, and it probably won't be fixed properly.
