  • what all did you do different on that 5VZ-FE engine -- I have a stock one, was wondering what I could do to boost its life and performance.

  • fixed:

    I didnt put the service bolt into the exhaust cam gear so it cam un-sprung.

    took the cam out, put it in a vice and re-tensioned the gears, placed a service bolt in it, then re-assembled
