All those separate connections needed to make the ladder telescope also make it very wobbly. He plants his foot , the ladder wobbles and his foot slides out. If you've ever used a regular large extension ladder thats fully extended you know the the most dangerous area is where both halves meet...thats the part that rocks when you're going up or down. No professional would trust his safety with one of these things.
