nothing special really... it's more dificult to make a shot from half court than from behind the board. you just need the right angle. almost everyone can make a shot like that, at least 1 from 5

i suggest you to try it in an nba level game while spinning around as you're being bumped out of bounds by a defender, falling from the air, and while all this is happening, judge exactly how much touch you need to give to the ball so that it goes over the backboard and falls straight down into the hoop. then tell me it's "nothing special really" and "almost everyone can make a shot like that". there's a reason why a play like this has happened only a few times in the entire history of the nba.
