I was searching for a Japanese product on Alibaba and I got numerous emails from South African companies which claimed they can sell me the product. They neither had a website or accepted any kind of secure money transactions (with buyer's protection) and insisted that I pay in advance through Money Gram. Seriously, do they think I am a complete idiot?
I think it's not a good platform to find a trustworthy dealer there unfortunately...
So sorry to hear about your experience. The Alibaba.com team is aware of buyers' concerns and we've been trying our best to introduce new programs to make online trade safer for buyers. Among them are on-site inspections of all China Gold Supplier members to ensure they are legitimate; Inspection Service to allow buyers to hire product inspectors in China before shipment; and escrow payment. We are hopeful that these measures will promote a healthier trading environment on our platform!
If you haven't already, please submit your dispute to our Online Security Department through our website. The team will initiate an investigation as soon as they receive sufficient information about your case.
If someone scam on me and lies so i payed him and he dident get me the goods and his not gold suplier what can i do? please an expert answer my question
I also wanted to highlight our Fair Play Fund. Established in early 2010, the Fair Play Fund is the first program of its kind to take the fees from an Alibaba.com supplier’s membership and use that money to offset buyer losses if that supplier commits fraud. If a China Gold Supplier is removed from Alibaba.com based on a confirmed case of fraud, the remainder of their Gold Supplier fee is added to the Fair Play Fund, which is supplemented by cash from Alibaba.com.
This is Sovanna from Alibaba.com’s Hong Kong office. Alibaba.com takes the issue of fraud very seriously and we have strict policies in place to deal with it.
Once a user has filed a complaint and if the complaint is substantiated, the supplier will be immediately removed and banned from our platform.
My experience with this company is they have no valid suppliers. You either find a fake supplier who will stop replying to you the moment you pay them. Or companies that want to sell you cheep junk at over MSRP.
While their might be some valid companies on the site you will never find them because Alibaba.com gives ever scam gold verify status. Unless you have about $200,000USD to just flush down the tolit to test which are real and which are fake you are wasting your time and will be scammed
Alibaba is a good site but you have to watch out because they have alot of scammers on their site. longteng industry hk co ltd got me out of $300 with useless counterfeit products
