This is actually featuring the '88-'89 team because Pervis is featured in this video. Him and Al McGuire were talking about him passing up Darrell Griffith as the all-time scorer in UL history. Plus Seattle was referenced as the Final Four site. It was site in 1989 and Denver was the site in 1990. Plus Pervis played at UL from '85-'86 to '88-'89. Life long UL fan from Louisville here. Either way, both the '88-'89 and '89-'90 teams had the talent to win it all, both just fell short.

Labradford Smith is one of the greatest of all times

I played against L. Smith 6 times in high school. I never got a win but saw a great player that we all thought would be the next Jordan. The good old days...thanks for the memories Moose!! #32 Rich Ray VHS-85/86.

Moose still got a home in The Ville and comes to all the home bball and fball games. Dude threw a heater too,90 something mph. I think he played a lil minor league ball.

Labradford was nicknamed "Moose" while flying high in Bay City TX. Crazy hops, just couldnt develope a consistant three point shot. Still the best high school player to ever come out of the Texas gulf coast. His high school legend lives on.
